We loved our stay at Sandy Bay. The house has great views and is very cozy with the charm of yesteryear and with a nice outdoor deck which would be lovely in the summer. Although only a short distance from the main road, it's peaceful and quiet. Easily walkable to the hustle and bustle of town, to cafés and Long Beach. Lots of dog friendly places around. Highly recommended.

We spent most of our time soaking up the scenery from the balcony or wandering down to the waterfront - it was pure bliss. The layout of the house is incredibly thoughtful, offering both comfort and style in every corner. Every detail, from the decor to the natural light pouring through the windows, made the space feel warm and welcoming. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. We were genuinely sad to leave, but one thing’s for sure - we’ll definitely be back. Staying here made our visit to Tasmania even more special. What an amazing place to stay! Photos didn’t do the space justice- absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean and tidy, presented beautifully. Had everything you need for a weekend or even longer. Loved the fact there was a washing machine. Easy walking distance to Hope Beach with some great spots for photography including astrophotography and the allusive Aurora Australis. Easy drive to Hobart and other local attractions while enjoying a more secluded location. Supermarket and other amenities also within easy driving distance. Marco was very responsive with messages, very helpful with any issues and an overall great host. Will definitely return when able. Highly recommend

Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart. Awesome location in a beautiful neighbourhood and you can see mount wellington out the kitchen window. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings. The space heaters in the bedrooms were great and worked well, but the dining room got pretty cold in the winter though. Would love to come back to experience this house in the summer.
