We just loved our stay at Carrageen - wish we could have stayed longer! Well located for exploring north Cornwall and north Devon. Beautiful and peaceful rural location, we enjoyed views at sunrise and sunset plus great dark skies for stargazing. Janie’s place has a lovely aesthetic, it is thoughtfully designed and very well appointed; every little thing has been thought of! We particularly appreciated the yummy cream tea and other provisions left for us, all of which were local and Cornish which was a nice touch! Janie’s communication was great and this made it really easy to find the place and check in! Would love to stay again, can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful stay just after the New Year. The accommodation is clean and cosy especially with the log burner in the evenings. Bude and Widemouth Bay are only a five minute drive away, and the Atlantic Highway is right there for easy access to the rest of Cornwall. Jay and Nigel are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and would recommend for a lovely escape!

Lovely location with easy access to the coast path. Beautiful views over the countryside. Clean and well equipped property. We especially enjoyed the scones, jam and cream left by the host. Great communication and information about the local area. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you!
