The Studio is on the first floor via a private staircase.

3 bedroom spacious lodge set in a private 22 acre park with FREE SECURE PARKING. Newbury Racecourse is on one side of the park and Crookham Golf course on the other. Living and dining areas in the lodge are open-plan with vaulted ceilings and panoramic views are through 2 sets of bi-fold doors. A built-in fire safe BBQ is attached to the outside decking (no other BBQ's can be used). Hot tub is not in use. Guests use mobile phones, create a hot spot for Wi-Fi. Not really suitable for infants.

Our home is perfect for relaxing with the whole family or a group of friends, situated in the village of Newtown, with a pub opposite. There is plenty to do, Newbury is within a couple of miles, with fantastic rail routes / only 39 minutes to London. The stunning market town Hungerford is a 15 minute drive, with antique shops, cafes, pubs and walks along the canal. Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed is a 10 minute drive away. There are multiple walks around us in AONB.

A detached, Grade ll, 200 year old thatched cottage in the small village of Ashford Hill, close to Newbury. My husband Andy and I own this one bedroom cottage, which has been carefully furnished and has parking and a small dedicated outdoor space.. It is an ideal base to explore the local area. Guests can visit Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), attend the races at Newbury Race Course or enjoy the walks in the surrounding area including Watership Down.
