Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Waldeck-Frankenberg

We had a very nice one in Daniela's charming cottage. We did not lack anything on site and Daniela was always available for questions. We particularly liked the private location of the cottage and the beautiful garden in which we could make ourselves comfortable in nice weather. However, it should be noted that the noise, the nearby highway, which caused a subtle background noise at least during the day. Due to the good connection, however, we were able to reach beautiful routes to explore and hike in a few minutes' drive. Overall, we were very satisfied and can definitely recommend a stay.

Beautiful, well-kept country cottage, not far from Schmallenberg. We lacked nothing - we were even helped out with a box of beer on the holiday. Host and accommodation, we can fully recommend. Best regards

The apartment was sparkling clean. Everything was available or even more. Very good amenities. The mattress on the large bed was super soft, I preferred the other smaller bed because the mattress was very hard. The description for TV and Wi-Fi were easy to understand. It creaked a little at the beginning, but the host was immediately reachable by phone and we were able to resolve it very quickly. Very good information was also available for excursions in the area. Very quiet environment ideal for "coming down." Also very well taken care of for the four-legged friends. This place is highly recommended. Grade 1+

We spent a weekend with friends at Olga's place. The house corresponds to the photos and is both beautiful and practical. We didn't miss anything and we felt completely comfortable. Olga responds super quickly to all inquiries!

We more than enjoyed the time in the beautiful big house and especially in the beautiful garden. Beautiful memories remain in the circle of loved ones...

We were with a large group including baby with Heleen and her husband and we loved the accommodation: spacious, sufficient toilets and bathrooms for the group size, lots of parking, opportunities to stay indoors and outdoors - we liked it very much!

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!

Claudia is a very kind host. Communication with her was quick and uncomplicated. I can recommend the place.

We had a very nice weekend in Jenny's small and fine apartment. It was very clean and all the furniture was spotless and the bed for two very comfortable. Jenny was extremely friendly and she pays a lot of attention to details and surprised us at the apartment with warm little things. We would definitely come :)

We have now stayed with Claudia and Marc in this very accommodation for the second time and look forward to many more times. Those who love something special will find it here, at a high standard. Thanks Claudia and Marc for the nice days with you 😊

For a short stopover, it was completely sufficient for us. Everything clean and hygienic. The landlord even provides drinks. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone or opened the door when the doorbell rang upon arrival.

We spent a weekend with our dog at Manuela's - and it was fantastic! Check-in was super unproblematic, the fenced garden was great for the dog, the surroundings invited you to walk and relax. The accommodation itself was better equipped than described and expected, the kitchen lacked absolutely nothing, the bathroom is super spacious and everything is very comfortably furnished - highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay, Svenja was the perfect host, staying up until midnight to greet us after we had severe travel problems. We were comfortable, felt looked after and would definitely return next time we are in the area

The property is as described - a beautiful place to unwind. Really great property, a bit like from another time. The apartment is soooo cozily furnished - you can only feel comfortable here. 5 stars for it! The only thing I didn't like was that there was a construction trailer in the garden in front of my balcony, which apparently is also rented. This was neither visible in the text nor in the pictures. I had also booked the place because of the great view of the garden and the privacy, but I couldn't really use the balcony and the view, as I also wanted to give the other family their space.

We spent a nice, quiet weekend in the Sauerland and felt very comfortable in the well-equipped, modern and beautifully furnished apartment, thank you!

The stay at Bibi's and Malte's cottage was great! Check-in was super nice and everything worked smoothly. From the cottage, you can look out into the countryside and have a lot of sun from early afternoon until sunset. The sauna is really a highlight and warms you up well when it gets colder in the evening or after a cold shower outside ;) Also the bed was very comfortable. If you are looking for a break in the countryside, this is the place to be.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin, surrounded by trees and hearing birdsong. Everything was clean and comfortable and was spacious enough for two people. Stephan was really friendly and gave us some nice local recommendations. One downside was the steep ladder-stairs to get to the bedroom; we knew about that in advance but the wooden bar at the top was not great . If you’re tall, it’s not so comfortable. We did some nice walks in the area, and enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the sun

Astrid is a very attentive and proactive host who has furnished her accommodation with a lot of love for detail, so we didn't miss anything. We were particularly impressed by the amenities of the accommodation, which are not self-evident and additionally ensure that you feel right at home. Here is a small selection of the things we found particularly beautiful: Cuddly blankets Candles Welcome sparkling wine <3 Fresh Flowers Picnic backpack Birdhouse with food Record players Cookbooks Fully furnished kitchen Lint reel Tray for breakfast in bed Headache pills Hot water bottle… and much more. We can highly recommend Astrid as a host and the very stylish accommodation.

As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay (four nights) in this cozy vacation home very much and had a wonderful break there. We found the house in a very clean condition. Everything we needed was there. Also toys for the kids, who were also able to romp around in the garden. The location at Niedersfeld was a very good starting point for us for various excursions (Hillebachsee, Golden Path, Gorge and Bridge Path, Sauerland Visitor Mine). If we spend another short vacation in the area, then we would be very happy to return to this house.

We stayed at this great place for the weekend. It was very clean, nicely decorated and a wonderful way to unplug. The tranquility and the beautiful view make for a very relaxed stay. Anne-Kathrin was very friendly, courteous and always available.

A great place, far from the digital world, especially suitable for the younger generation to appreciate consumption again and not to take for granted. Uwe is a great host and the introduction could not be done better ❤️

I went to this lovely cottage for a long weekend with my two brothers, parents and our dog. The cottage is small, but is super homely and gives a warm feeling and has everything you need; so you don't need bigger either. The surroundings are fantastic and the view is beautiful, especially when the sun is out the garden and the outdoor terrace are really great. Communication was also super nice and fast. My family and I will definitely come back here!

It was the 2nd time this year and the third time in total. The fact that we come back is a fact, ideal quiet breakout location for mountain biking in the many bike parks in the wider area. The cabin was super clean as all previous times and the beds sleep great. Even the weather was good this weekend, with quite a few hours of sunshine. The contact with Christian went great as always, in short it was another fantastic weekend! Until the next time.
