Freda is a very friendly and helpful host. The house looks just as described. Very remote, has all it needs, beautiful view, in the middle of the nature. Perfect for some days off the grid. We really enjoyed our stay :)

McFab farm stay is a lovely rustic farm house, off the beaten track and very peaceful. There is little to do in the area and the nearest two is roughly 40 minutes away so be prepared to relax. The house has all the hallmarks of a farm, wooden floor, stone walls but is well appointed with everything one may need for a short or long stay. Remember to bring all you need food/ drinks / condiments wise but they have a gas stove and fridge with all the cutlery and plates one would need. They have good selection of books and there are some walking trails to be found in and around the farm, great mountain biking and some fishing at nearby river. I would recommend this stay for people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, away from cellphones ( very limited signal at the property ) and get in touch with country/ farm living.

The place was incredibly cozy and spotless, perfect for walking barefoot. The breathtaking views of the mountains, cows, and bulls immersed us in nature’s beauty. Everything felt magical, allowing us to fully embrace the sense of being disconnected from the busyness of daily life.
