Highly recommended!!! This place felt like home and was very affordable. I came for a short trip to India and decided to visit Pondicherry. I was initially cautious about my stay choices but I arrived half an hour early, and Host Banu was very warm and welcoming. The entire stay went smoothly, and the house was clean as well. Special mention to Host Banu, who helped us rent two wheelers, suggested places to visit, and made us feel secure throughout our stay. The house had all the necessary facilities and was maintained really well. I would definitely give it a 5-star rating and highly recommend staying here! We are planning to visit Pondicherry again at the end of February before we leave, and we will definitely book this same place. One great thing I noticed was the proximity to the bus stand, auto stand, beach, and other main areas. It’s located in the heart of the city, which made it easy to navigate in all directions. Earthen hut is an amazing, peaceful place. Openness to nature makes this place a beautiful and unique experience. The best part of the stay or magic happened after the sunsets, hut lit up under moon light, watching sky, counting stars, identify planets, patterns was fun, lucky to see few lightening. Little rain and birds chirping sounds was a added therapy to the mind and soul. Rain made the farm lush green and pleasant. The Hut is inside an Cashew orchards, private and safe. Swiggy and local transport are available hence food and transport was not an issue. Auroville and surrounding places should be experienced by people living in the city. We loved our stay in Earthen hut, didn't realise how 3 days passed. We carry lot of sweet memories to cherish and love to visit again.
