Five friends made to feel very welcome to this beautiful spacious villa with a lovely pool set amongst olive groves. The scenery that surrounded us was beautiful. Invited to Mark's villa who shared his knowledge and history of the olive groves which was very interesting and the hospitality received was first class (vino and yummy bruschetta's). This was the perfect place to stay and would highly recommend.

Nous avons découvert un endroit incroyable avec une vue et un décor fééerique typiquement de la Toscane. Les hôtes Andréa et Fabio sont très accueillants et disponibles, et la maison était impéccable et identique aux photos. C'est plus qu'un 5 étoiles! Nous sommes des fervents de la location par AIrbnb, et ce fut le plus bel endroit que nous avons connu, un coup de coeur! Nous avons pu également profiter d'une dégustation de vin à leur vignoble familial, et ce fut une très belle et enrichissante expérience. Nous avons passé des moments mémorables en Toscane et c'est beaucoup à cause de cette location. De plus, il y a un petit village à proximité, et nous avons découvert de délicieux restaurants. Cette villa est également près de Florence et Sienne. Nous vous recommandons très fortement cet endroit.

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends, including young children, in Brian's lovely villa. The property has fantastic views and is enormous. Brian was very helpful throughout our stay. He arranged a delicious meal for us one evening. We were particularly grateful that they came up with a special vegan menu for two of our friends, who really appreciated the effort and the food! I would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay! The property sits on a stunningly large lot surrounded by trees, which gave it a peaceful and private feel. The pool was a highlight — spacious, clean, and with beautiful views that made every swim feel special. Inside, the decor was tasteful and thoughtfully done, blending comfort with style. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape in nature without compromising on style!

Our stay with Katia was absolutely fabulous! We LOVED the house - it looks rustic on the outside with lots of character and is lovely restored on the inside. A comfortable living room, excellently appointed kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Katia is a fantastic host - she gave us many wonderful suggestions to explore in the region, and her recommendations were very good. The weather was really nice so we managed to also take a dip in the pool, and used the bbq on our last evening as well. While there, we visited the marble caves of Carrara, went white water rafting, visited the gorgeous city of Lucca and did a wine and olive oil tour at Colle Verte. Staying in the Tuscan countryside was a dream - Matraia is a beautiful region and I hope we will have the chance to come back!

Heerlijk verblijf. Schoon, ruim, lekker zwembad. Goed gelegen, rustige omgeving. Paar kleine zaken als iets te weinig spullen in de keuken, achterdeur naar terras klemt en gaat slecht open en het warme water bij de wastafel was er niet. Maar dat zijn kleine zaken. Overall zeker aan te raden. Oh, en volgns zoon en schoondochter is de gelateria bij de top supermarkt Essalunga ook een prima tip. En verder is de osteria moderna in de stand Pescia ook een aanrader.

Wir haben mit 7 Leuten 14 Tage in Casa Luigi verbracht und haben uns dort wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht kann sie dort in malerischer Umgebung finden. Wanderungen in der näheren Umgebung und Tagesausflüge nach Lucca, Montecatini Terme und Florenz, die gut erreichen sind, haben den Aufenthalt in Casa Luigi abgerundet und zu einem wunderschönen Urlaub gemacht. Die Ausstattung des Hauses entsprach der Beschreibung und war für uns völlig ausreichend. Die Kommunikation mit Alberto lief perfekt.

Wonderful stay at the Villa among the vineyards in Panzano. Vicky, the host, is the owner of Le Fonti winery with the villa surrounded by their vineyards and olive groves. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. The town of Panzano is very cute. We bought groceries at the Coop and made breakfast each morning, gathering in the cozy well equipped kitchen. There is a courtyard immediately outside the doors of the villa with a large table, and again amazing views. Our time in the villa was so relaxing! Though we went to several wineries, a highlight was a very personal tour of the winery, wine making process and wines by Vicky at Le Fonti. She spent time discussing/pouring the different wines, even bringing over the same wine from different years to show us the difference the weather/grape stress influences the final taste. Overall exactly what we wanted from a Tuscan experience and really enriched by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home full of character. The location was perfect—central for visiting Florence and ideal for day trips around Tuscany, including Chianti. The house had beautiful views, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious rooms with updated en suite bathrooms. It was very comfortable for our large group of 10. Note that the home is on the second story with access one flight of stairs, which may not be suitable for everyone. Stefano was easy to reach and very helpful. A picturesque, relaxing stay—we’d love to come back!

We have stayed in many AirBnBs around the world - this one is the best. Absolutely stunning views, beautiful home that’s unique and full of things to do, very friendly and kind hosts. Our kids loved it too! Even though the house is in a peaceful mountain side, you can drive 15 min to the nearest town for groceries. We definitely would like to come back and stay again!

We visited for a multi-generational family holiday - grandparents, kids and parents. The setting is wonderful, in the mountains of Fosciandora - an easy 1.20 hr drive from Pisa airport. We enjoyed having the option of the jacuzzi as well as the fresh water pool. And had local chefs cook for us several evenings. The local Tigalle meal was a special highlight on our first day - compliments to Chef Nenella. It’s a stunning place and we’d love to come back. Local trips we did were to Lucca (about an hour), Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Barga. Pizza Indie was a great recommendation from Leo. Our hosts were so responsive and wonderful to speak to. They couldn’t have been more attentive. I can def imagine we’ll be back in years to come. Highly recommend the his wonderful place to anyone who truly wants to get away and switch off. The mountain air and beauty is good for the soul.

Stunningly beautiful location and property! Great location to access Pisa, Florence, Lucca and the other surrounding area’s. We couldn’t have asked for more from Serena and the team during our stay. Nothing was too much! It is safe to say that we have never stayed in a home and setting as perfect as this one!

A wonderful, peaceful, grand villa in a tremendous garden ( more like a park ) The interior is beautiful with loads of personal accents. Livia and her team have taken care of us, as excellent hosts. It’s a fantastic place to stay with family and friends. We were all very impressed!!!

What an amazing place , the photos do not do it justice. Lovely gardens and pool area with plenty of places to sit and relax and eat, and a great wood barbecue and pizza oven . The house is very Tuscan and full of antiques. Three very well equipped kitchens with all the utensils needed . Plenty of space upstairs and down and in the pool house if some peace is needed. The views are spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend without hesitation and would love to return

Dana's house is a jewel in itself, not only what you see in the pictures is what you will find at the location, but also there was a lot of attention to details, starting from all the appliances in the house, to the welcoming with everything you could eventually need for a stay in an house in Lucca, and possibly more. Dana herself was proactive and helpful, and she even went the extra mile on a few requests and helping me out with an issue I had (not related to her house). The location per se is amazing, a bit far from Lucca'a walls, but easily manageable with a good walk or, even better, by biking there. For this reason though, it can be reached via car, have a nearby parking, and for those reason it will also represent a nice starting point to explore all the whereabouts.

We really enjoyed our stay in the house. It was exactly what we were looking for. A charming place equipped like a home with everything you need - even an EV charger. The house keeper was very helpful and responded promptly to all our questions. We would be happy to come back another time.

Una villa bellissima, curata e perfetta per un weekend di relax! La zona è veramente tranquilla e silenziosa, grazie al clima favorevole abbiamo sfruttato anche i lettini in giardino e la veranda al piano terra, una meraviglia 😍 Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il terrazzo (con tavolino) della cucina, con vista sulla valle. Pulizia impeccabile, cucina fornitissima, idromassaggio e sauna sono la ciliegina sulla torta! Simone è stato sempre molto rapido nel rispondere alle mie domande, e super disponibile. Di sicuro è una villa in cui tornerei subito se potessi, assolutamente consigliata🥰

We had a really lovely stay at the house. The poolside and the view are awesome and Marco was super nice. I absolutely recommend to do the wine tasting with dinner!

We spent part of our Honeymoon staying at this beautiful villa and quite honestly, we could not have picked a more perfect place. Check in was quick and easy. We met Luciano’s daughter, Birgitta on site and she talked us through the villa and all nearby amenities we may need. She was extremely kind and helpful. The little village is close by and the villa has everything you need to cater for yourselves and have a completely private get away. We cannot recommend enough. The villa was beautifully clean and the surroundings were stunning.

I have so much positive to say about this place! Despite what some reviews mention about the drive, it's absolutely worth it. There's a small restaurant just 2-3 minutes away, easy access to the city, and you're only about an hour from Pisa and some beaches. The house was perfect—everything well thought out and worth every penny. The pool was amazing, and the host was very responsive. If you're visiting in autumn or spring, bring warm clothes for the chilly evenings. We were sad to leave, and I can't wait to come back to this dreamy property!
