Monthly Rentals in Vikersund

We had a super cozy Christmas in the apartment, and it was extra nice that it was decorated for Christmas and fired in the oven when we arrived. Beautiful walk to Vikersund city center via Island and short car ride to Vikersundbakken.

An incredibly lovely and peaceful place that is even nicer than in the pictures. Ideal for a trip during the fall holidays. Since the cabin is so well equipped in every way, it is completely unproblematic to do without electricity and running water. The cabin kept the heat well even though it was 0 degrees outside at night. In the evening it became darker than you might think was possible and we got to see an amazing starry sky. Highly recommended.

I was able to spend 4 wonderful days with my dog in this great cabin. Marianne provided me with snowshoes and a sled for transportation at the parking lot. Without the snowshoes, it would not have been possible for me to get to the cabin or transport my backpacks. It's definitely a little adventure, but it's just the thing if you need a little break and want to focus on the essentials. We will remember the beautiful days in the snow for a long time.

It was wonderful. :) The lake with its own jetty, the forest and especially the silence. Great for driving down and reading a lot!! I'd love to come back :)
