Great cabin, great host!

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Nice cabin and efficient communication ahead of time and along the way.

We stayed with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. The house was handed over to us very clean and the amenities were also top. There are enough plates, pans, etc. We stayed at the house over New Year's Eve and got both very cold days and some snow. The house is very well prepared for this. Despite the hillside location, the path to the house is also easily accessible in snow, as it is cleared by a snow blower several times a day. The sauna and hot tub are real highlights even in winter. We explored the surroundings for walking and sledding. We had a really great few days and would be happy to come back to this beautiful house.

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful house in a very nice environment. There is still construction next door, but we were kindly warned, and it wasn’t too bothersome. Overall the hosts very accomodating to our special requests (we decided to rent the whole place instead just half once we arrived).

Very cozy and modern apartment that was within walking distance to the ski slope, as we imagined because we were there on the sports holiday for skiing. From the apartment we had a wonderful view out over the village and mountains! Perfect driving distance and nice roads from Gothenburg. We would be glad to come back!

Svein and Margrethe's cottage was one of our all time favorite Air BNB rentals. The cottage was rustic, cozy, and very comfortable. We loved hanging out at the cottage and enjoying the fireplace. The location was perfect, with easy drives to restaurants, groceries, shopping, and the ski trails. Finally, our hosts made us feel welcomed and at home!

We had some quiet and nice days in peaceful surroundings and we got to take a couple of skiing on the trail that goes almost right outside. The cabin is both practical and cozy, with all amenities stated in the description. The key was at the door when we arrived, and we had no need to contact Knut during our stay, as everything was as it should be. Highly recommend!

Great, spacious and very well equipped log cabin. The cabin is close to Haukelifjell ski center and a fantastic mountain world and has parking space for 3-4 cars. Sveinung had arranged clearing and it was definitely required. We rented the cabin with an annex and it gave us 7 men very ample bolting space - we could easily be twice as many. There is a very well equipped kitchen and it suited us foody guys very well. The only thing we couldn't do was the stomp. It probably requires even more patient and prolonged firing than the 6 hours we spent. Anyway an incredibly great stay and a nice and accommodating host.

Thank you so much for letting us be guests in your hut. We really felt very comfortable. Thank you also for your helpfulness despite your own family commitments during the holidays. The region is scenically beautiful and the people were very welcoming towards us. All the snow and the northern lights at the end were the highlights of our vacation. Very pet friendly

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

Mikkel's cabin is located in the Sogndal ski resort and you can start directly from the cabin for a ski tour. True luxury. The cabin itself was just amazing. Perfect for two. Large windows with the great view of the mountains. The kitchen has everything you need and in the kitchen you even have a lounge area with a view by the window. The bathroom was also very classy with black fixtures. Overall, the entire concept of the cabin was very harmonious and invites you to feel comfortable. Mikkel and his family were also very nice and warmly welcomed us. We really highly recommend the cabin. :-)

Lovely cottage with practical decor. Worked optimally for two families. Easy access to ski area. Comfortable host - easy to communicate with.

We had a lovely week's skiing holiday and the cabin is just perfect. Great location on disk 91 from Mosetertoppen. Great opportunities for both alpine and cross-country skiing. Close to shopping. Lovely cozy decor with great amenities. Super clean and well maintained. Pets are not allowed but the owners occasionally bring a cat. Just as an information for allergy sufferers. Great communication with Delphine and Tom.

I feel like there are 3 types of people who rent out their places on airbnb: 1:People who want to rent out their basement for a quick bit of easy money. 2:People who like to share their property with travellers from all corners of the world. 3:Vidar. What an incredible stay we have had at Vidars super cosy cabin. From the moment we arrived Vidar's cheery personality made us feel immediately at home, and that he truely wanted us to have the best experience possible. The cabin is unbelievably cosy, and even with temperatures of -20 outside it was easy to get it to +25 inside by using the log burner. The toilet facilities were spotless and very comfortable. We were able to borrow cross country skis to explore the beautiful tracks in the area. Vidar was an absolute superhero when I had a skiing accident in Trysil and ended up in hospital. He took great care of my partner and dog, driving them to the hospital, arranging collection of my car etc etc. What a wonderful human being.

Comfortable and well equipped cabin, just next to the cross country track. Well suited for families. Special feature is the large couch next to the fire place.
