Fantastic weekend as this dream cabin - we easily fit nine girlfriends and had such a wonderful time! It had everything one needs, and great outdoor facilities as well. We opted for a taxi-boat into the island, and Sara was so helpful in her communication, tips, flexibility and hospitality during the stay. We also used the sauna which had a beautiful view of the sea, and swam all day long. Sara and her husband was so great with planning and ensuring the sauna was hot for us, and flexible and kind. Highly recommend and we hope to be back!

House with lots of character and good vibe. Beautiful views over lake and situated in a beautiful setting. Functionally furnished for a pleasant stay. Recommended for people who are looking for peace in a very beautiful area but also not want to be too far from cities such as Oslo and Hamar.

We had a super nice week at the lake house! Thank you, Maria & Klaus for this great holiday and the very good contact during the stay! The house is very lovingly decorated and very well equipped, for any weather the house/property offers something, so it can only get bored with a lot of effort. :-) The lake is really great, whether canoeing/boating, fishing, swimming or other activities. Also the surroundings are stunningly beautiful and anything but boring. There are many attractions in the area... from Ritzungen in rock walls, great hiking trails, nature reserves, the beautiful archipelago coast and waterfalls are all there. Shopping and refueling can be done 10 minutes away - yet you have the feeling of being "far away" and "in peace" in the house, which means that it is located right on the lake and a little deeper, which we really loved! We don't have any negative points, and can really highly recommend this place.

The house is great. The environment is fabulous! Right in the middle of winter it was perfect! Very well-equipped!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

Canilla’s home was perfect! Just a quick walk from the train which brought us to Oslo city center within 30min. The views are breathtaking morning and night. The apartment was well stocked, the beds comfortable and the outdoor seating was fantastic. Could not recommend this home enough if you go to Oslo!

Great place to stay with all amenities in place. Ingun as a host was very warm and helpful. I would recommend this place for groups of 6 or more who would want to stay close to nature 😊

We loved what the Tomas and his family had done with the outdoor space. Lots of little areas to enjoy. Cabin was tidy and ready for us to enjoy from the moment we arrived. Tomas was very responsive and helpful.

The reality exceeded the pictures and description, we were all very pleasantly surprised! Great accommodation, well equipped, fresh, beautiful surroundings, nice and helpful host.

Karlake was very welcoming and communicative from start to end. The house is in a beautiful but convenient location. we enjoyed the rowing boat and the sauna as well as some beautiful walks in the area. Thank you for a lovely week.

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

We had an amazing few days in this cabin in August 2024. It is such a beautiful location and so peaceful. The cabin is extremely well equipped and clean. The lake was warm to swim in and easy to navigate on rowing boat and Canadian canoe. Anders was super helpful when we messaged (e.g. He has 2 canoes that can be rented). If you want a quiet holiday this is a great spot to go to!

This place is truly incredible! It looks nice on photos but even better in real life - beautiful peaceful location to enjoy nature. We did a two weeks roadtrip and this cottage was our favorite! Love to come back!
