Cabin vacation rentals in Vestnes

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ole’s place. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was very friendly and responded quickly, providing all the information we needed. The overall experience was smooth and pleasant. We truly recommend this place to others! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Merete and Jesper’s beautiful home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we felt at home right away. You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making it such a special place. This stay was a real highlight of our trip—we’d love to come back. An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

Very friendly hosts! The cabin looked exactly like in the photos – very beautiful, very cozy, and had everything you might need. A private yard. We felt at home, and I’m grateful that we were allowed to stay with our pets.

Incredibly nice and cozy cabin with modern amenities located close to the center of Stranda, and almost 2 hours drive to Geiranger, Stryn, Ålesund and other nice places to visit. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic stay we had. So much room, really beautiful in the surrounding area. The stay at the cabin was one of our highlights of our holiday. Great value for money. Just wish we could of stayed longer. A huge thank you to Kristoffer and their family.

We had a lovely time in the cozy cabin of Espen and Hilde. Everything was super cared for with wonderful beds, a kitchen where nothing is missing and a fantastic garden. The children enjoyed themselves with all the books and games, by the sea and in the playground with cable car and of course in the garden with swing. We had a beautiful walk at Sunnmøre open-air museum. Was very easy to walk with young children and very nice to see how the people used to live here. Supermarket is close by. Communication with Espen and Hilde went well. They are very friendly, flexible and think along. We were able to stay one extra night at the end. We definitely recommend this place!

Nice classic cabin with view by the sea. Clean and comfy. Surprisingly easy access road and parking right beside the cabin. Loved the sounds of small birds chirping on the high trees of the forest. And a deer 🦌 to say hi to😊. Could have stayed one more night to try the canoe. Warm inside as well as the chimney lights up the living room for cozy evening inside. Beautiful scenery along the road. Really worth our short trip.

We loved our couple of nights here! It's one of few Airbnb stays where you meet your host. Krister was a very nice guy, a ready problem solver and had great recommendations for things we were interested in in the area. The cottage itself was very clean and very basic. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The surrounding area is drop dead beautiful and we would love to return someday for more exploring!

Information from and communication with Norgesbooking was very good. The cabin we rented was very nice, cozy and had everything we needed while we were in Vestnes.

We immediately felt at home in Jørn's cozy little house. When you are in Jørn's house, it feels like you are on a boat, as the house is right on the water's edge and the house is so cozy with a lot of fun and beautiful decor. The view is so lovely over the lake and mountains with snow. The many small terraces allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the weather, because there was always a terrace with shelter. The kids loved the little orangery and cable car and tree hut. We fished and sailed and went on a trip in the mountains behind the house. Beautiful, quiet, and some nice hosts. A house with it all. Thank you so much for a wonderful Easter holiday.

Lovingly furnished 400 year old cabins in a gigantic natural paradise on a plateau! Well stocked kitchen in the neighboring cabin - very cozy! Cooking with gas and candlelit food! Helena and Björn were extremely hospitable! Two of these cabins also have capacity for large family celebrations.
