Vacation rentals with lake access in Van Buren County

Great spot, loved the view and the house. Only downside was the dead bugs that were inside the home. But other than that, we loved our weekend away here. Can’t beat the view of the lake and really loved having a game room in the garage.

I stayed here with a few girl friends for a weekend getaway. It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The views were amazing and the hot tub was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here for your next getaway.

Spent a long weekend with my friends. We ate at an amazing local Italian restaurant (Mauricio's). Cuddled goats at Harmony Lane Farms. And overall had the most relaxing and fun girls trip we've had in a while!!! Amazing place, in a beautiful area, which every amenity you could possibly need! Sallie is a fantastic host!!!!

Wife booked this place for my birthday and it was stunning!!!! Great views, great place! We felt comfortable and right at home! Kellie was great at communicating! I will definitely go back

Our stay at the Lake House was wonderful! Mickey provided everything we needed for a comfortable experience, from labeled light switches to extra blankets and essentials. The well-insulated house kept us warm, and the outdoor amenities, especially the fire pit and canoe, were highlights. We watched ducks and even caught some bass. It was peaceful and relaxing, and Mickey’s thoughtful preparations made it feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend the Lake House and look forward to returning!

Absolutely lovely location. The house is great, maybe a touch disorganized, but I'm also a little OCD. Johnna was lovely, very responsive and friendly and the house really did work great for our Thanksgiving get together! Thank you!

Great place! Very clean. I would definitely consider staying again if we vacation in the same area. We appreciated having two common rooms for our extended family to stay together, nice bedrooms and extra sleeping spaces in basement common room, and good # of bathrooms. The deck was a nice place to sit/rock and enjoy the peaceful winter days (when warm enough). Basement (2 bedrooms and baths + a common space) was cold but mostly taken care of by quality space heaters. We liked being able to walk to the small marina and through the campground loops. Extremely quiet area during our winter holiday visit. I imagine there is more action in the summer (lake) months. Thanks for a quality stay!

Beautiful place! so peaceful and close to the Fall Creek Falls. A lot to do in the area. Highly recommend. You can see a billion stars!

We stayed here for my daughters wedding that was nearby. The house was in a private location with beautiful scenery. The house was as described and clean. The essentials were provided. The house has plenty of room and the deck was lovely. The highway was noisy at night, so if you’re a light sleeper like myself, you may want to bring a sound machine or fan.

we absolutely loved the Trinity cottage! so pretty and homey while also being spacious. the beds were comfy. Brittany was amazing and let us tack on another night last minute due to impending weather and made it painless. I would 100% stay here again if I was in the area.

We decided to stay here last minute and it was very peaceful and quiet. Jo Lynn was very nice and responded quickly with concerns we had. Everything was super clean and very well written instructions to follow to get to the cabin. We loved staying here and definitely will be back!

Beautiful and peaceful stay on a private lake, the paddle boat was an awesome addition. House was well stocked with everything you'd need, decent internet connection given the location. Would highly recommend!

This cottage is the perfect “getaway” cottage! So cozy and peaceful, especially the front porch in the morning with coffee and the evenings with a cocktail . Very convenient to Smithville but even more so to the marina. My favorite thing (among others) was the well equipped kitchen! Perfect for those who like to cook! Loved all the parking for cars and our boat. Finally, it was truly a pleasure working out details etc with Nicole. She’s the best and left no stone unturned to insure our stay was fabulous. We highly recommend this cottage and Nicole and look forward to renting again one day!

Renea’s place was fantastic! It was everything as described. Renea was a super host and responded quickly to our questions or needs. The house was immaculate and so warming and furnished all that we needed. We used the fireplace and it made everything cozier. Renea’s place was well worth the money and we are looking forward to coming back. If you are looking for a fantastic getaway, you definitely need to check out Renea’s Hideaway!!

Loved every minute of our getaway to Sparta. The place had a wonderful “at home” feel. Would love to book here again next time we come back to Sparta. Advija was a wonderful host!
