Vacation rentals in Valdottavo

Everything about our stay was so perfect! Pino was very kind. We really appreciated that we received his great olive oil as a welcome gift (and decided later to buy several bottles in the small shop, and also a bottle of his wine!). Our cabin was the last one, which gives you a lot of privacy, nobody is walking past it. The cabin has everything you need, but we spent most of our time on the lovely veranda (we especially loved the hammock!). The view is so beautiful and the place is just so peaceful. You are surrounded by nature, like the olive trees, and we could even see a flock of sheep on the other side each day, which was an adorable sight. This place really allowed us to relax, which is exactly what we were looking for. Hopefully we will be able to come back one day. Thanks again for everything, Pino!

We’ve had a lovely week at Podere Grignano, a haven of peace, tranquility and greenery. It’s isolated, but that’s why we chose the location. The last kilometre of the road is quite rough. Just go slow! You can shop at Volterra, 35 minutes away. No osterias or trattorias nearby. But Podere has excellent cooking facilities so we had a wonderful time preparing and consuming the local produce and wine. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable, bathroom modern and water is hot. Stefano and Roberta are lovely hosts, discrete but helpful- and the owner, Marco, gives you detailed instructions on how to find Podere. The attached cottage is BEAUTIFUL, just as the pictures show. It was spotlessly clean, had lots of little extras: Stefano gave us a bottle of their magnificent olive oil. We spent the week visiting numerous hilltop towns (including San Gimignano, but seriously, there are tiny gems that avoid the tourist hordes.) Love the views, love the accommodation, love the countryside. Come here…

Appartamento in ottima posizione, 3 minuti a piedi da spiaggia e da fermata del bus. Zona molto tranquilla lontano dai rumori, un locale con letto (non divano-letto) molto comodo e grande, zona cucina con tutto l'occorrente, bagno grande e funzionale (mancava solo qualche appendino in più), zona esterna con vista su porto venere. Garage sottostante. Porto venere raggiungibile comodamente a piedi. proprietari gentili, a modo, precisi e disponibili. Un ottima location per vacanze.

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen, entspannten Aufenthalt auf Bellavista. Angela und ihr Vater waren überaus gastfreundlich. Wir wurden mit eigenem Wein, selbstgemachtem Gepäck und hofeigenen Früchten versorgt. Der Aufenthalt auf Bellavista hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt und sind wir irgendwann erneut in der Gegend, kommen wir wieder! Familie Wehrli

Nada and her daughter Viola have created a stunning home which provided a beautiful setting to recharge and rest for the next leg of our trip. Both Nada and Viola were communicative, friendly, and available to address any issues (not that there were many). Viola created a fun cooking class and was even able to cater it to my sister’s gluten free diet. Do not hesitate to book your stay here, and definitely do the cooking class. A chegada foi muito tranquila, fomos muito bem recebidos! A vaga para o carro é muito segura e prática! O apartamento estava impecável, banheiro espaçoso e ótimo banho. A limpeza e a organização nota 10! Local muito tranquilo e perto do centro principal! Tudo ótimo!

Wir hatten wieder eine herrliche Zeit bei Chiara. Das Appartement und Anlage sind sehr schön, liebevoll, einfach direkt zum Wohlfühlen. Man ist schnell in Florenz und der Umgebung, kann aber auch eine ruhige Zeit mit traumhaftem Ausblick genießen. Immer wieder gern!
