I can only repeat my review of our stay in May 2023: ...it is the best vacation cottage we have discovered so far on our travels. The great location with a magnificent view, a modern, well-equipped kitchen, a great bed and very tasteful furnishings, warm and cozy and everything tiptop clean. Skogbu is a hidden gem in the beautiful, wild surrounds of Bulandet. Such a comfortable, cosy home from which you can watch the eagles, search the shorelines for otters and walk or kayak around the many islands. We absolutely loved our stay and hope that we’ll be able to come back one day. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

What a wonderful place for a holiday :) we had a lovely few days here. Super friendly and helpful welcome from Rose's husband who took care of us and gave us recommendations throughout our stay, a well equipped kitchen, lovely space to sit outside. Nearby are great walks and bike hire. Just be aware that the stairs are steep but that's shown in the photos and adds to the charm :)
