My name is Tony. Our family has lived in the Washington DC area for most of our lives. The Frederick area is one of our favorite get-aways. We bought this lovely cabin as a place to escape from the city for ourselves and also to share with the AirBnB community. Its truly a wonderful opportunity and a great area to experience the outdoors, shopping, restaurants and history.

My Family of 7 stayed at Anthony’s place to visit the Shrines. The proximity was perfect especially having little ones. The place was more than comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The views all around the house are so beautiful. Everything worked pretty well. And he is great with communication. Everything was clean and ready for us, and we felt safe. We are grateful we found Anthony’s place and would highly recommend it.

Six family members spent the first weekend in October at the Cabin in the Woods near Thurmont, Maryland. The cabin was an ideal location for my wife and I, who live in Harrisburg, to meet with my son, his wife, their two girls and their dog, who reside in DC., to spend some time together and visit Gettysburg. The cabin was a short 20 minute drive to Gettysburg. Tony was very informative and shared very good helpful hints about activities in the Thurmont area. The cabin provided plenty of space for evening games with the family. The patio was great with a firepit for s'mores and a propane grill for Saturday night's supper. After a very busy day spent in the outdoors, everyone found very comfortable beds awaiting a good night's rest. The DC dog, Bodie, had a fantastic time with plenty of ground to roam.
