We enjoy sharing our space in the city. Life-long Northwesterners, we enjoy many of the outdoor activities offered in this part of the world, skiing, hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing. Andy is a retired plumbing contractor, and sailing instructor. Betty is a retired nurse. We have two children and three grandchildren who all live in the area. We look forward to more travel in the coming years, some of it in our 1987 Westie.

Staying at Fig Cottage was great! It is a small personal cottage that was the perfect size for mine and my partners anniversary. Andy and Betty were very welcoming and very helpful when we had questions about the laundry and check out procedures. The location itself was very conveniently placed between two bus lines that connected directly to the Metro and was in walking distance of a beautiful short hiking trail. We hope to stay at Fig Cottage again one day in the future to explore more of Seattle.
