Guesthouse vacation rentals in Upper Swabia

We had a very nice stay with our dog. The apartment is super suitable for cycling tours in the Lautertal, what we did and what worked out super. But there would have been many other tours possible. We had a great night's sleep in the bed and all the other rooms were also easy to use for us. It is a bit spartan, which didn't bother us, as everything worked. The grid stairs and the gates in front of the front door are not so well suited for dogs, we have always carried our Benji. That's why we didn't use the small lattice terrace at your doorstep. Martin is a very nice and super helpful host, whom we can only recommend.

AIrbnb was great, a house with 3 units shared bathroom, kitchen and livingroom. Clean and nice. Owner is open, welcoming and answers fast. Checkin was seamless and fast since owner lives on the house next door. Free parkingspot and bus available nearby. A little distance to the nearest grocery shop, but still manageable. Quiet and nice. Recommended, will come back here.

The place is very beautiful and quiet. It is possible to do many excursions in the surroundings, by bus, train, boat or bike. Elisabeth is very inviting and helpful.

great place, just what we needed, super peaceful and cozy

The eco house is a very cozy accommodation, which offers everything except frills. A pragmatically furnished kitchen with a cozy corner bench, a tiled stove that spreads cozy warmth, two bedrooms overlooking wonderful lush meadows, through which also fox walks. The bathroom has a shower, with the hot water being fed from solar energy. Around the cottage run two stately roosters, happy chickens and two beautiful cats (in our case everyone stayed a little distance because our hunting dog was there). There is a fire pit in the apartment with unobstructed views to the edge of the forest. At the creek, a duck couple breeds and you can find the grey cooker almost daily. Nestled in the beautiful Allgäu hills, you can relax here. Getting to know the host was also a great pleasure - uncomplicated and warmly, so we felt comfortable from the first minute. Since we had to work, we unfortunately did not come to use the wellness room, but it also has it. Ideal for people who love nature and down-to-earth Allgäu life. I would have loved to stay longer.

We had a very great time here. The accommodation offers everything you need to feel comfortable and Uwe is a very nice, helpful, relaxed person and host. We especially loved the beautiful garden to rest, the sheep and chickens as neighbors and that the pond is within walking distance for swimming. The area is generally beautiful. Almost every hill offers great views and there is no shortage of green meadows, beautiful forests, lakes and sweet villages with friendly people. There's also a great starry sky at night. Excursions by public transport are feasible (we were in Lindau in just over 1 hour, for example), but the travel times are quite limited. It is better to explore the surroundings by bike, scooter or car.

What a beautiful and peaceful place. The private beach is perfect. The location is so accessible to all that you need. Cycling and swimming on the lake is fantastic. We spent 10 action packed days there! This particular part of the lake is so natural and quiet. Yet if you want access to more public bathing areas and restaurants they are easily accessible. Andreas and his partner were so friendly and helpful! We loved our holiday !

We were in Engen as a group of 7 adults and 7 kids (7-10 years) for three days. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and Christina and Thomas were great hosts. Particularly noteworthy are the garden with barbecue area and trampoline, the cozy forecourt with large table, the net on the first floor, as well as the great combination of privacy in the three separate apartments and communal kitchen. The schnapps tasting with Thomas was also extremely cozy and delicious😋. I'm sure we'll be back if we can!

Probably the best designed and comfortable Airbnb I've stayed in in 10yrs. I would love to build my own home to the same standard as this. Marcus, his wife and little girl were a wonderful host. I would highly recommend this home. We will be back

Beautiful Pool House with pool and jacuzzi in a green and perfectly maintained environment. Timo was flexible, available and gave us recommendations for the surrounding area, the accommodation was perfectly prepared, very clean and a little gift was offered to the children

Despite bad weather, we had wonderful, relaxing holidays thanks to this beautiful house. The house is well furnished. Also the tennis court right in front of the house, gave the children and us a lot of joy. We absolutely recommend this place. Markus and his family are great hosts. Thank you for everything!

Very kind homestay host, the location of the homestay is also very good, there is a supermarket and bakery just around the corner; we went to Schwabenland to visit friends who live in different cities, and it is easy to drive past.

I booked the accommodation with Stefan for my mother. She was totally satisfied and emphasized how nice and clean everything was. Stefan was easily accessible and it was a successful stay for her! 😊

cozy and spacious house with beautiful garden and super bathroom on the first floor. Beautiful surroundings, green and hilly. Through the woods and past the fields you walk to Krumbach where there are supermarkets and bakeries.
