The accommodation was excellent and as described. It was a little bit cold; but the heating worked and after all it was a barn. I just would not recommend to go into this area this time of the year. It was OK for us because we met friends in the middle but the cities close by we had visited (Überlingen, Meersburg) were like ghost towns. Almost all restaurants closed; I guess outside of the season between March and November everyone else is also somewhere else.

Michael gave us a super warm welcome. We were 6 adults and 4 children and the house was perfect for us. In addition, we felt completely comfortable and it is very well equipped. Thank you also for the great tips for excursions and restaurants.

We have been here for the second time and feel right at home. Björn and his lovely family are very friendly and always easily accessible. The sauna is really relaxing and has invited us to relax despite the cold. We will definitely be back ! Best regards from us

The Barn is a truly beautiful gem in the middle of the great landscape of the Danube Valley. Tastefully and very cozily furnished with lots of wood and textiles - we felt right at home. The fireplace is of course the highlight on cold winter days and creates a quaint atmosphere. We spent relaxing hours reading, knitting and playing here. Wood is provided and it gets very chubby warm. Everything important is also there for cooking, on request Kathrin even lent us a blender from her household. The dishwasher facilitates the washing up. The cottage is a bit remote and there is no shopping in the village - we therefore recommend bringing all food with you and taking care of yourself. Especially in winter, the surrounding gastronomies are not open on weekdays. Otherwise: we will be happy to come back and were more than happy!

Great place to stay, also for multiple days, we would recommend it. Although we one stayed one nigth on our way. Well equipped, clean and beds made upon arrival. Easy to find the place, park and entrance is well arranged. Absolutely lovely and nice neighborhood

We were allowed to enjoy a wonderful stay🥰. The apartment is very nicely decorated and it has everything you need, you feel right at home🤗. Thanks to the beautiful garden and jacuzzi, we were able to slide deeply into the new year🥳🍀. Ms. Petersen greeted us in a very friendly way and was super prepared (Restaueant tip, business brochures, etc.). We can only recommend Ms. Petersen and the apartment 🫠🥂

So usually I don't write reviews, but here I just have to write one:) The apartment is really great. A fantastic location - located a little on the mountain and with great views of the mountains. I felt very comfortable right from the beginning. The apartment has everything you need, was very cozy and lovingly furnished and with a very nice terrace to linger. Monika and her husband were very friendly and helpful and immediately on hand if you had an issue. A real oasis of peace and well-being. Absolutely recommend !!

We had a very great time here. The accommodation offers everything you need to feel comfortable and Uwe is a very nice, helpful, relaxed person and host. We especially loved the beautiful garden to rest, the sheep and chickens as neighbors and that the pond is within walking distance for swimming. The area is generally beautiful. Almost every hill offers great views and there is no shortage of green meadows, beautiful forests, lakes and sweet villages with friendly people. There's also a great starry sky at night. Excursions by public transport are feasible (we were in Lindau in just over 1 hour, for example), but the travel times are quite limited. It is better to explore the surroundings by bike, scooter or car.

A modest sleeping area features a single bed with patterned bedding and a striped throw. Light-colored walls and wood flooring create an open feel. A small nightstand stands beside the bed, while a doorway leads to a neat bathroom area.

We celebrated our mother with 12 people as part of a family celebration for the 85th birthday. The former barn has been perfectly developed and has a nice layout. The kitchen with large dining table is perfect for shared meals. We felt very comfortable and Christina was always responsive.

We had a lovely time in Markus' quiet apartment. Despite arriving later, he personally welcomed us and explained everything briefly. Thanks to the modern amenities, we felt right at home. From Meckenbeuren we had a great starting point for trips around Lake Constance.

Everything fits with this apartment: great amenities, quiet location and wonderful hosts. We felt at home in the apartment and were completely satisfied. The proximity to Center Parks is great as a family, Urlau itself a quiet village with the great Allgäu genussmanufaktur. Lilia and Reinhold are wonderful people who even brought us toys for our children. THANKS for everything!

Despite bad weather, we had wonderful, relaxing holidays thanks to this beautiful house. The house is well furnished. Also the tennis court right in front of the house, gave the children and us a lot of joy. We absolutely recommend this place. Markus and his family are great hosts. Thank you for everything!
