James’ cottage was even more beautiful than the pics. Tons of space for our group of 6 & the entire place was spotless. We recommend this cottage to everyone, we had an amazing stay.

We were looking for a cozy getaway where we could unplug and immerse ourselves in nature. We found it at the Bear's Den! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a wave and a smile from Liana. She was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us the lay of the land and then left us to our peaceful stay. We enjoyed a walk through the trail to the LaHave River, which borders her property. It was beautiful and peaceful. That night we had a relaxing evening by the fire with some drinks and a few games of cards. Though it was very cold, we also could not resist getting bundled up to sit outside and star gaze. I don't think I have seen so many stars in my life. The space was very clean, easy to keep warm, the bed was comfy and the environment was serene. We loved our overnight experience. It was hard to pack up and leave the calm atmosphere the next day, but we look forward to returning when we can play in the river!

Kyla's place was the perfect choice for a girls trip getaway. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the hot chocolate, coffee, tea (and even creamer!) along with condiments was a great touch. The beds and pillows were the comfiest we ever had at an Airbnb, and the hot tub + views were so relaxing. Kyla was extremely prompt to respond to any questions we had and eager to help. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking to have a relaxing stay.
