Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Uplyme

Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

We chose this venue as it was recommended by Upton Barnes’s wedding venue where my son and his fiance were getting married. We were able to accommodate all of my side of the family for the wedding and the newly married couple joined us on Sunday to entertain members of the wedding party With a cooked breakfast followed by a barbecue lunch. There was plenty of space seating and parking for the approximately 25 people who visited us over the day.. Tracey was very helpful host and the house was equipped extremely well a three-year-old grandson had an enormous range of toys to entertain him. I cannot recommend this property more highly

Great spot close to the beach and town. The house felt spacious but cosy and was well equipped as well as being very clean. Would definitely visit again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dorset Mews. The house felt like a true home away from home, with everything we needed and more. It was spotless, beautifully presented, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Although we don’t have kids, we really appreciated the great selection of games, toys, DVDs, and even a Wii—such a nice touch for relaxing evenings in. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the town and beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Having private parking was a huge bonus in Lyme Regis! The host was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We actually got engaged during this trip, and we couldn’t have wished for a better little base to make such a special memory. Highly recommend Dorset Mews to anyone visiting the area. We’d love to return one day!

We had a lovely family holiday at Haye Farm. The cottage is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is absolutely beautiful and a great base for exploring the local area. We had a wonderful stay and our kids loved exploring the farm and meting the animals!

What a wonderful break of journey, great hosts and a wonderful location, the cottage felt so homely and meeting Emily and Mike was like catching up with old friends, very relaxed and very helpful, we shall certainly be going back in the very near future. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short drive and the town has a really friendly atmosphere. Great mixed street market twice a week, you name it they sell it, great bargains to be had. We actually stayed twice once on the way down to Cornwall and then again on the way back, we did regret booking several days in Cornwall on reflection we would have been happier staying at the cottage in Bridport.

2 adults and 3 children used to house over the Lyme Regis fossil festival weekend. The house was perfect for all our needs. It is set in a quiet location and is within easy walking distance of everything you need. Linda was super helpful with recommendations and very responsive. A perfect stay, thank you, we hope to return next year.

it ist the most coziest, magical little cottage with a private wee terrace. Everything was really clean and Charles was very welcoming and friendly. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a shop 3 min from the cottage. We would like to visit again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

Delightful stay. :) Hosts were helpful, friendly, and very welcoming, and the property is gorgeous! Set in beautiful surroundings, and felt right at home in the perfectly appointed accommodation - would absolutely recommend!

A fabulous apartment in a fantastic location. The place was stylish, very comfortable and oozed quality. Jose was a very responsive, friendly host. The guests I brought had a perfect first stay in Topsham and are already planning their next visit.

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

Loved our stay. Beautiful apartment, absolutely spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Loved the area it was in- walkable distance from the High Street in Minehead yet very peaceful with great walks from the doorstep through streets of beautiful houses and amazing views. Was visiting our daughter and didn’t realise Minehead was such a nice town with beautiful places such as Lynmouth and Porlock pretty near. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay

A lovely space to spend a few days in Dartmouth. Very clean, modern and comfortable for 2 people. Short walk into town with lots of pubs , restaurants and cafes. Lots of good walks along the rivers. Very pleased with our stay.

We love Somerset and Swallows Nest ideal location for Wells,Glastonbury and Cheddar. Great to sit outside on the balcony with a drink and watch the sunset. Sheep,fox and deer 🦌 Comfortable bed and lovely clean accommodation. Bathroom and kitchen very well equipped. Will definitely return Thank you Carol

Mary was very welcoming to us on our arrival. The flat itself is very comfortable and right next to the shops / cafes etc in Dawlish. Very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. We were on a family visit, but if you are looking for a holiday Dawlish is ideal and relatively unspoilt compared to other coastal towns. Lots of shops to explore, and of course the famous Gay's Creamery is here too (an absolute must-visit!)

Me and my friends came here to celebrate my 30th and the photos don’t even do it justice! The decor was amazing and every room felt very grand! The views are one of the best things about the villa. Truly could not recommend it enough!

We had such a wonderful stay at your beautiful property — everything was absolutely perfect, and I truly appreciated how thoughtful and welcoming you both were. Your quick responses made everything so easy, and the beautiful birthday basket you left for me was such a kind and unexpected gesture that really made my day. I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

All in all a great & absolutely magical place. We had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend in August and celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary. The whole place and service was first class! Kitty was so nice, so helpful and extremely kind person. The garden, lake and view out of our villa was so beautiful and magical, you felt like you are in heaven. We captured a lot of incredible beautiful photos. The bed was really comfy and the rooms spacious, beautiful, stylish and clean. We can honestly say we had absolutely the best time & 2 night’s sleep. Karmacations-Luxe Detached Villa,Lake Spa+Gardens this amazing place made for a truly memorable and magical experience for us!! We wont forget about this magical place and we definitely will back again!!!! Thank you so much Kitty xxxxx

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for my hen weekend. The house was perfect for all 14 of us. Plenty of room and great fun. I would highly recommend

We had a fabulous time celebrating my son’s 21st birthday at Moor House. The house provided a lovely “about time” vibe and allowed us to carry out lots of activities in the local area, sea kayaking, clay pigeon shooting etc coming back for a family celebratory supper on the Saturday night. Definitely a house perfect for a family celebration
