Waterfront vacation rentals in Union

This location is right on the small Main Street wi th a few restaurants and stores, and it’s close driving distance to everywhere we go to visit family. The neighborhood is quiet, and the unit itself was beautiful, open and spacious. It was clean, with clear instructions on how to check in. In addition, the host was very responsive and checked in with us during our stay.

Great host, quick to respond to questions. Nice, clean place with great views. Nicely located near downtown, easily walkable. Would recommend if visiting Portland.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

This spot was perfect for a weekend getaway! The Airbnb was clean with spacious accommodations. The apartment has an amazing view of the ocean. Adilah was great to work with! I would highly recommend this stay!

Loved staying here! It's a very short walk to Kettle Cove State Park and Crescent Beach. Cape Elizabeth is a charming, quiet little town. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway spot, this is it. You'll feel right at home. Plus the hosts are very responsive and friendly. I'm already thinking about when I can return!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The house was exactly what we were looking for: relaxing with great views. The marina with fresh seafood within walking distance was icing on the cake.

We had a great, low key girls weekend at Alanna’s place. The hot tub was great for soaking in, and right off the deck. We brought our snowshoes and enjoyed snowshoeing down to the lake and around the property. The tvs in the living room felt a bit over powering, but we figured out how to put two to sleep so we could just listen to music on the third.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spotless property in the perfect location. The river views were breathtaking, and watching the snowfall by the wood fire was magical. The kitchen was one of the best we’ve seen in an Airbnb—fully equipped with everything from a French press to baking sheets. Plenty of towels, linens, and great communication from the owners. One note—some of the artwork wasn’t our style and felt a bit intense, which we didn’t notice much in the listing photos. It’s purely personal preference and didn’t take away from the beauty of the space, but it didn’t create the most relaxing atmosphere for us. That said, the home itself was fantastic. Overall, this place felt like a private retreat with all the amenities nearby. We loved Burano’s Sicilian Pizza and Café Crème in town. Thank you for hosting us.

What an amazing spot! My family and I enjoyed mornings on the dock, watching spectacular sunrises and daily sightings of bald eagles. The walk down to the dock was lined nicely with stone steps and once on the dock it was hard to leave. The three kayaks allowed us to explore the coastline and although the shoreline was rocky, we enjoyed a dip in the cool September waters. The house was perfectly decorated and equipped with everything and anything needed. Lisa was great to work with, quick to answer any questions and accommodating with requests. The beds were extremely comfortable and the view of the sunrise each morning, priceless. The location was perfect, within minutes from a venue where we were attending a wedding and a few restaurants, although we hated to leave the house. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home that slept seven of us comfortably. If you're looking for a peaceful spot with stunning views, this place is perfect. We would love to visit again.

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at David's home. The location was peaceful and we enjoyed the view. Plenty of space for our family, and our kids especially enjoyed the foosball table, board games, puzzles and books. This was a cozy and comfortable landing spot for a quick weekend trip that brought us to this area of Maine. Would love to experience this home in the warmer weather!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great - right on the lake. We got the bonus of seeing the aurora lights over the lake! What a great experience!

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my 2nd year staying here! Just returned home and cant wait until next year already!!

BEAUTIFUL landscape directly on a lake with access to fishing poles, kayaks, and canoes, we felt like we didn’t need to leave the property at all. Perfect location to visit Acadia and near by towns. I wish we could have stayed for twice as long. The condo itself seems to be brand new! The beds were comfortable and the decorations and big screen tv were a nice touch. We spent hours on the dock and in the lake (kayaks). Cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven.

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

Dave was a very responsive host and his property was exactly what he described. The location was very good to visit downtown Portland. At last, we loved the bakery right in front!

We have been staying at various places around North America and can say — without question — this was the nicest/all-around properties we have ever stayed at during our lengthy relationship. As I told the property owner, who by the way is a fabulous person, the photos of the Signal Point home don’t do it justice. The home is even more beautiful in person. We have also never been in a house as perfectly stocked with amenities in our lives. There was a ton of paper products already there for us. The linens were in abundance galore. And the gift bag for us when we arrived was an awesome touch that you don’t get everywhere. Bottom line, we have been staying in Boothbay Harbor for close to a decade during our Maine visits. And this is the best property we’ve been fortunate to land for our trip. We will be back next year and years to come before we buy our own place at Signal Point!
