What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

With its location and facilities, the house is perfect for a perfect Norwegian holiday. We used it for a fishing vacation and it was a great choice. Boats, pier, fish cleaning area, storage, and especially excellent fishing spots available early in any weather within minutes. The owner was helpful, always quick to respond and recommended us great places for fishing. Plus, he's still investing in his facility, like a new high-pressure hot water gun to clean equipment and boats, a new jacuzzi. Looking forward to another year.

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Lovely with hot tub 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

This was easily one of the most unforgettable stays of our lives. The cabin, the valley, the silence, the forest, it all came together to create something that felt more like a dream than a vacation. Roar was a gracious host. Very warm, welcoming, and clearly someone who loves and respects this land deeply. Even though we didn’t interact much, his care for the place and his guests was felt in every detail. If you’re looking for peace, authenticity, and a place that invites you to just be, this is it. We left with full hearts and memories that will stay with us forever. Tusen takk. We hope to return one day :)

Perfect cottage to stay. Everything you need is available. Every now and then, a cruise ship passes by, which is really nice to see.

We loved staying here! The house was the perfect size and so cozy. The view was amazing and the proximity to hikes and Runde island to see the puffins were perfect. Check in was easy and the host is very responsive and helpful. It had everything you needed and felt like being at home, If home was overlooking a fjord and mountains! Would definitely stay here again I absolutely loved it!

Cozy cabin near Ullsheim ski stadium where I would work in connection with skiers. Easy to lock in, and the cabin looks even better in reality than on the photos. Here it was easy to relax after a long day skiing. Recommended for those going to the area!

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

We had a wonderful stay at Sonja's cottage! We received clear and helpful instructions for arrival in advance. Sonja was always available, regularly inquired if we needed anything, and was a very attentive host overall. The cottage itself and the surroundings inspired us so much that we spontaneously extended our stay by two days. The view of the fjord is simply breathtaking – even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

We had an amazing stay at an amazing Norwegian farmhouse with hiking nearby and floating saunas on the fjord in Sæbo. Very central to take ferries wherever you want to go. We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here in connection with a bachelorette party with 12 girls. We had a great time! Fantastic house with great location and views and pleasant hosts who were easy to communicate with. Very good facilities with everything we needed, and the fireplace in the basement was used diligently. 10 out of 10 :D

This was my first stay in Airbnb, the place was very well maintained. The host was kind and accommodating. The location of the house is very beautiful.

Monica and Ivar are great hosts. they are very welcoming and helpful. The stay is very nice and cozy and with all the amenities. There is a bus stand just right outside the house and it takes only 15 minutes to go to Alesund central. The view from the house is also a bonus.

A great stay! We went there for a local beer festival, which was in a walking distance. The place is greatly located above a convinient store, so it was easy to get food etc. The place is like home comfortable and nice. The beds were super soft. Lise Katrin was super helpful and inviting host, where we got great information and communication.

Helge's place been full of everything what we needed for our daily routine. Location and house - spot on, parking - easy fits more than two cars. Owner is super easy to get in touch with. 100% recommend for others who will look for place to stay in STRYN !!!!!

Asbjorn is super likeable and very helpful. The house is located in a beautiful environment with many excursion possibilities. House is huge with everything you need, but rather old-fashioned. But it is still recommended.
