What a beautiful little haven! It was so nice to leave the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, to spend our evenings relaxing at De Woude. Leigh-Anne is a wonderful host, who cannot be faulted. Leigh-Anne met us at the pier when we arrived, walked us to the Lodge, and then meticulously gave us a run-down of its workings, with a little bonus of home-made cookies for us to enjoy. Highly recommend!

What a cozy, warm, private, and quiet space. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was nice as well, and the skylights were a beautiful touch. The location of the garage is just perfect! The hosts had all the right touches, and even provided nice snacks and a delicious little bottle of Prosecco to help us ring in the near year. We felt right at home! We will definitely try to book again when we come back to Alkmaar!

My 6 days 5 nights stay was amazing. The apartment really nice clean cozy and the location make me feel peace and calm Me and my family really enjoy each and every moment we were there. Irma was responsive and will attned to our need immediately Thanks Irma for being nice and polite host I recommend all to stay here and you will always feel welcome and like home
