Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here and if we returned to the Netherlands we would stay here again. A very comfortable house, wonderful big soft bed, clean kitchen and lovely shower. A beautiful outside space too- we loved it. Excellent stay

Very nice location, very close to the city center. Important to note is that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the further surroundings with public transportation. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet area and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

We were totally satisfied with the small cottage, everything was as described, very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is also great, neither the beach nor downtown Amsterdam is far away. The immediate surroundings are very quiet and close to nature. Glad to come back :)

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

Charming & quirky Dutch home complete with everything you could need. Location is peaceful yet central. Hosts are extremely generous, responsive and went the extra mile to help us when there was a rail strike.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly what we needed , clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They really made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Sabine and Sander’s place. The location is ideal - very walkable to everything and close to multiple buses. They had many pans to use and a five burner stove, so cooking was easy. It was very quiet and peaceful. We miss it already!

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at Kevin and Kim's beautiful home. The place was fantastic and exactly as advertised. We felt right at home immediately in their immaculately clean home. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway. It was close to busses, the grocery store and the lovely shops and promenade in Volendam on the water. Amsterdam was only a 20 minute bus ride. Kevin greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Truly a great experience. I would book with Kevin and Kim in a heartbeat again should our travels return to Volendam.

Lovely apartment, very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. Great location on the waterfront and close to bus station. Easy walk to town and lots of cafes / restaurants. Shafieq was really responsive and helpful and gave very clear instructions on check-in.

The place was just fantastic – clean, stylishly furnished and with a breathtaking view! A real highlight of our stay. Even better, however, was our host Julie: incredibly helpful, warm and always available. No question was too much for her, and her answers always came lightning fast. What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

Lovely stay at Rudis cottage.After two weeks travelling around Europe we wanted a couple of night to relax and this was the perfect place. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and Rudi even brought us a fan when the temps hit 31 and the place was so hot. We were lucky to have a storm and be able to watch out over the nature reserve was amazing. We also ate at De Heeren van Maarssen nearby and the food was beautiful.

A really nice holiday cottage in a great location. Despite rainy holidays, we had a very nice time and were completely satisfied. Very happy to come back! :-)

Beautiful house and perfect host!

We booked the accommodation very spontaneously and felt very comfortable. Communication with Simon went great and he always helped us quickly with our request. We particularly liked that we were flexible with the arrival and departure in the accommodation. Thank you - we will be back :)

Best location for access to Edam. Steps away from the cheese market. Ample parking for an SUV. Bathroom on par with American standards - nicer than most European bathrooms. Washer and dryer are full capacity. Enough sleeping space for a family of six. Playground in front of house. Hosts nice and responsive. Cobbled roads and narrow homes do make Edam not ADA friendly like much of Europe.

It is a beautiful accommodation overlooking the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day overlooking the lake. If the weather cooperates, you can also swim there. Will definitely be back :)

We had a very nice time. Super nice, quiet and relaxed. In the evening you had a very nice view and a nice atmosphere! Highly recommended! 😊
