This serene getaway is a 20 minute drive from Fort Portal. The lake is clean and safe to swim in, and you can enjoy beautiful walks along the 4 km rim, and/or explore the Crater. The house is self catered with a full maid/cook service. You will have sole use of the house with no other guests. Our cottage on the edge of the world was built by hand with regional materials. In a village near the town of Fort Portal (30 min), you will find peace, hospitality and a sense of community. A perfect space for volunteers and vacationers who want to support a grassroots organization (even for a longer period of time). The cottage is part of the community organization Kuza Omuto and a local school. So you will experience the real village life of West Uganda .

Only 6km from Kampala city centre, Tree tops house, set in a large compound, offers a peaceful place to escape the busy city. Surrounded by trees with views overlooking the city and Lake Victoria, it offers a tranquil space to relax, by the pool, on the veranda in the tree tops or in the spacious bedrooms. Guests can use the fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool, sauna, and pizza oven. To maintain the peaceful setting we will not be open for day guests
