Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plenty of parking, also easy commute to Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

Had such a lovely time, what a great place to stay! The veiws from the windows were beautiful, and the facilities were so practical with everything you could want. There were even toys for the kids to play with. The host also created an excellent guide to the property which was so easy to navigate and had really good suggestions of places to go. A delightful cottage that was spotlessly clean and wonderfully fresh, providing a peaceful setting in the countryside, yet only a 15-minute drive from Durham. We loved the charming, spacious cottage with its own private garden. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, making our stay so easy. The welcome treats were a lovely touch - especially the amazing rocky road, and the fresh eggs and milk were much appreciated. Being on a working farm was brilliant, with fresh produce readily available, and the friendly ginger cat and chickens added real character. Jane, the host, was an absolute star with her excellent communication. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Lovely stay here this week, so much so we have booked again for next week.

Leslie’s house was ideal for our stay in the NE. The house is in a residential area which is very quiet but you can be straight out to the beach / cliffs or onto the Sluice river towpath within a minute. Absolutely perfect for dog owners and the Kings Arms pub which can be seen from the house is excellent. Lovely walks along the coast to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Blyth etc. We would also highly recommend the Castaway coffee house which is also a stones throw from the house. We visited to pick our son up from university in Newcastle so it was really convenient for that too, just half an hour away.

I was working nights and needed a place that was quiet and near my location of work. I had to change the days at the last minute and Terry was obliging and understanding. Had a brief chat with the neighbours who were also friendly.

A lovely home, that is comfortable and relaxing, everything you need is supplied. Ideal for us as a family as it’s close to our relatives.

I live local to Kim's Airbnb only staying there while I was having building work done and needed a pet friendly home for 1week Been a local and have walked past this street many time and have always wanted to see inside....did not disappoint...thanks again Kim .. fabulous x

Samantha was a great host and the accommodation was just as described and met with all of our requirements.

Had a beautiful mini vacation with family , was accommodating as we have a baby . Everything was perfect , communication was great and fast. Would recommend for longer stays as we had two day trip and felt it wasn’t enough to see everything as there is so much to do. The house is conveniently located near shops and beach is around 13 min away by car. The house felt truly like a home and is very spacious, the house is also well equipped for everything. Would recommend and will hopefully return soon.

Really enjoyed our Christmas in Whitley Bay. House was ideal and had everything. Right next to the sea! Close to shops and lovely cafes, even a cinema. Catherine is perfect host, friendly , helpful and communicative.

This house is absolutely insane. The photos do not do it justice, it’s stunning. We came for a hen weekend. we were not there to party, we wanted a chilled weekend and that is what we got. All the rooms are absolutely stunning. We were overwhelmed how nice the house was. The gym, hot tub and sauna just adds to how great the house is. I can’t forget the games room upstairs, that was an added bonus too and was just amazing. I would 100% recommend this house for any families or friends wanting a nice chilled weekend. Mark and Sarah are always there either by email or phone and are quick to sort out any issues. Each room is clean and stunning ready for you arriving. What an amazing house. We were all gutted to leave as it was so lovely. Will definitely be going back.

What an amazing stay we’ve had. The most beautiful location with everything you need on your doorstep for the whole family. You can litterally park your car and leave it and and be kept entertained all in the same area on foot. The beach is a short walk away as is so many other walks, pubs, park, shops and library. Our family had the best holiday and we want to return soon. The hosts were very responsive and left us some yummy treats and essentials which was a lovely touch.
