Turtle-Flambeau Flowage cabins

Alex's place was very nice and very clean. If you're looking for a good kitchen, this place is perfect for you. Alex was very responsive and helpful with everything we inquired of him. We will definitely be back for another visit. Alex, you made our first family reunion a wonderful memory...thank you.

An excellent place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and great trails to walk. Extra added fun if the Rock Garden Bar happens to open.

Wonderful stay, beautiful property and a great location!

This was an amazing place to stay with family to celebrate a winter holiday weekend. Beautiful, private location that was a quick drive into Minocqua for groceries and anything else you may want. Huge living spaces to gather all together and it was amazing to have full bathrooms in each bedroom. Only slight negatives were one bed that was very sunken in the middle (but thankfully we had a younger adult staying with is whose back could handle it!) and some difficulties figuring out what each light switch did. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay in the winter, with great accommodations for 5 adults, and I can imagine it being an even more incredible place to stay in the summer months to enjoy the small private lake.

Great location right off the snowmobile trail and close to downtown. Nice big parking lot for a snowmobile trailer. House was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described.

Alexis and Luke are great hosts! They were very proactive in communicating leading up to our arrival and prior to our check out. Instructions for the lockbox, keys and garbage were very clear. We have stayed there before but for first timers, the instructions on how to get to the lodge were very clear also. They always had wood stocked at the entrance for the fireplace which was super nice. Very clean and cozy. It's ideal for skiing in and out at Black River Basin. We love staying at the Bunkhouse and will be back!

For the most part the place is as advertised. There are pro's and cons with the location. It is very conveniently located but with it being so close to the town of Rhinelander, you get more traffic noise. The lake picture is a little deceiving. When you see a swim raft you think the water is deeper. It is located in a shallow area. Unless you are out in the bay more you are swimmng with weeds. If you are bringing a boat, take it slow coming into the dock until you know the lake. The bay has some rock points that come up quite shallow. Be careful. The amenities were great. The water toys, kayaks, and chairs for the campfire were awesome. Lake Julia is full of fish. Not all of them are big but if you want to catch bass after bass this is the lake to do it. I would come back.

Very nice place and was exactly as expected…..wait, we actually thought it was better. Pictures do not do it justice. Sometimes you see pictures on Airbnb and then you get there and think, how did they make this place look that good and big? Not the case here. The space is even better than the photos!! Spacious, clean and very comfortable!

We loved our stay here! Just a quick walk over to the base of Big Powderhorn, and very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Snow Escape! Beautiful home in a lovely location and the amenities (hot tub, sauna, etc) are top notch. I can’t recommend this place enough and I absolutely would love to return!

Great chalet! It was clean and well we're greeted with a dog basket with all the essentials (that was super helpful and amazing). The hot tub was lovely, warm, and CLEAN. All of the beds had different firmness and softness so it can accommodate many different preferences. The dishes were clean, which always makes me happy. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this rental to others.

We loved our weekend stay at the cabin. The views were stunning and the cabin was very cozy and private. Great hosts! they were able to communicate with any questions we had and the hospitality was top tier. I would definitely recommend this stay to friends and family, it was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay! The connivence of the ski in and ski out was amazing. The rooms were a good size. Pillows comfy. We had three children with us that loved the bunk bed bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night after skiing. There is a puzzle and an arcade machine available for family fun. We would have loved to see a deck of cards or board game; but generally speaking those are items that can be brought from home. Overall, the cabin was perfect..

Cozy little cabin in the north woods. Comfortable beds. Nice enclosed patio. Located right on the lake. It has all the amenities you would need for a long weekend. We'll stocked kitchen with all the cookware you would need.

The stay was perfect for a quiet getaway that we were looking for. The sunrise views were gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully for a longer stay. Scott was a great host and very flexible and we appreciated the hospitality.
