Tiny house vacation rentals in Tunbridge Wells District

Three of us stayed for 2 nights in spring while the weather was cool. The sheperd's hut is one of 3 on site - well spaced - along with several lodges all located off a gravel drive and surrounded by a large expanse of grass bordered by shrubs. The site is accessed through a substantial wooden electric gate from the main road - which makes for a very secure setting. Plus points: * well equipped - including good quality knives (in wooden block) & 2 ring induction hob * very well insulated (warm & quiet) * easy walk from Hassocks station * lovely walk to Jack & Jill windmills at top of the Downs * attractive site * remote key fob for electric gate * fresh flowers, organic tea * large towels, nice linen * good WiFi Other things: * Quite a lot of road noise from A273 during busy periods daytime * If you are over 6' tall and plan to use a single bed thene expect your feet to stick out uncovered, as the banquette & duvet are short. I would definitely stay again.

The hut is truly the ultimate country getaway, peaceful, charming, and a world away from the fast pace of city life. Full of nature, it offered everything we needed for a restful retreat. The sauna, in particular, was a highlight; such a luxurious touch that made our stay feel extra special. Joe and his family were outstanding hosts, warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. From flexible check-in to helpful tips, they went above and beyond. Joe even gave us a quick "masterclass" in fire lighting which added a fun and memorable element to our experience. We couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re looking to unwind and reconnect with nature, this is the spot. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much Joe!

Sue is an amazing host and the hut was exactly what we hoped it would be - a peaceful weekend away with beautiful surroundings. Very functional hut - it had everything you would need. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be looking to come back!

Thank you Cath! We had a wonderful stay at the Barn. Beautiful, peaceful and cosy studio with everything you might need. We really enjoyed sitting out in the garden too. The studio is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Great location, set in a pcturesque village, and perfect for walks. Also easy to get to places via public transport including Nymans and Brighton. Cath was very accommodating!

I have stayed with Elizabeth several times before and as always she is a welcoming host, any little problems and she is quick to deal with them. The property is quirky, with slopping roof, kitchen has a combination cooker and airfryer. Fresh eggs are supplied from the free range chickens and ducks. It is in the countryside and at places the roads are single carriage way with passing places, so no rally racing.

The cabin was perfect for the couple of day's rest and recuperation that my partner and I needed. It is in a very quiet area with a lovely serene outlook. The weather was changeable but we were able to both sit out happily or cosy up indoors if necessary. The cabin was always warm without any need to use the heating. It was also spotless with a lovely hot rainfall shower. We didn't cook as there were lovely options to eat out locally, but the kitchen was well equipped if we'd wanted to. The absence of a TV was as liberating as we'd hoped and meant plenty of time for reading, games, time together and wildlife spotting. The appearance of the very tame local foxes at sundown was a real treat. We had a fantastic reset of our minds and bodies and were sad to leave but happy we'd chosen to stay.

We had a great stay at this property for a working trip. Jamie was great in responding before booking regarding Internet speeds, as we needed speedy internet (it was perfect by the way). Location and the property couldn't have been more ideal. Lovely space and highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sonia, and can’t recommend this place highly enough! We are very frequent weekend away-ers and this is one of favourite stays so far. Sonia was super friendly and welcoming, and messaged us in advance with some helpful instructions to find the place. The barn / annex is absolutely perfect - really well laid out and had absolutely everything we needed plus some goodies like bread, marmalade and milk which we really appreciated! I don’t think the photos do it justice, but it’s a great space and was spotlessly clean too. It’s clear to see that Sonia puts a lot of effort into the Airbnb. Her own property is immaculately kept too, with a garden so stunning that I asked if I could take a picture, which makes the surroundings really stunning. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would definitely suggest others choose this place for their stays too!

I had such a lovely stay at Daisy the Shepherd’s Hut! The hut itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a peaceful countryside escape. It’s clear a lot of care and attention has gone into making the space both charming and comfortable. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, striking the perfect balance between helpful and respectful of privacy. One of the highlights was the folder of local recommendations—especially the country walks, which were well described and led to some truly stunning scenery. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Everything from the cozy interior to the peaceful setting made this a perfect retreat. I’d highly recommend Daisy to anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the countryside. I’d happily return!

Amy & Victoria were lovely hosts, incredibly friendly and helpful. The location itself was also great, only a quick/cheap uber or public transport available to get into Brighton.

This is a hidden gem!!! We had the most beautiful stay at Tracy and Nigel’s and will definitely be back. Everything is immaculately clean and presented to such a high quality. The surroundings are picturesque - it’s private and peaceful. The hot tub was easy to use, clean and so relaxing. Our little dog loved running around the field. And Tracy had thought of so many sweet touches - a little basket of toys and treats for our dog and delicious cupcakes for us. So glad we picked this place and we can’t wait to visit again!

Super host. Very helpful and left us to it. Helped when there was an issue. Bit closer to the house than first thought, but still very peaceful. All in all great experience

This was our First time staying at Fuggles Lodge and we wasn’t disappointed. Beautiful secluded garden and fabulous hot tub, the lodge was super clean and had all we needed. The welcome pack was a nice touch ( fresh eggs from the hosts chickens and milk in the fridge ). We had a fantastic stay and will be back in the future .

The cabin and the wagon were great and a lovely place to relax with cows and sheep grazing in the next field and walks around the farm and surrounding fields. Really thoughtful touches inside the cabin too. Perfect for a bank holiday, thanks a lot!

This is a very special place! It’s peaceful, private and surrounded by trees and birds. The perfect spot to unwind and reset. The cabin is gorgeous and has everything you need for a simple retreat. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and it was great having the option to cook our own food, as well as venture to local pubs. Peter was a brilliant host, kind, generous and on hand to answer any questions; whilst not being too interfering. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely little hut, the ducks are so cute! Had everything we needed for a weekend away and close to lots of nice hiking routes.

We had such a lovely time staying in the eco hut. It was really well equipped, the beds were comfortable and it was warm inside. The log burner is such a lovely touch. The grounds are also amazing - so impressed with the showers. How clean the toilets were. The site is great for kids, ours loved playing with the mud kitchen and exploring the site grounds. We walked in Blean woods, did day trips to whistable & Minnus bay both were lovely. And went to the Red lion pub which was also great. Tilly was great & helped us with everything we needed. Will be coming back again

Great communication and what a lovely cozy place to stay. Lovely touches with the dressing gowns and hot water bottles. Will definitely come again!

If peace and quiet is what you're looking for, then this is the place for you. Our stay was so tranquil. We had dinner around the firepit, and I enjoyed my morning coffee with the company of wild rabbits! The hut is so clean and tidy, very easy to find.

We had an absolutely smashing weekend, Julie and Brian were amazing hosts, the accommodation was immaculate and spacious with plenty to do, it was perfect for a little getaway from London. Cannot fault anything, would happily go back. 5 stars all round!!
