We loved out stay at this adorable A frame home. Felt nice and cozy and perfect for our family of 5. Would stay again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

We loved the cottage! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Kathy went out of her way to make us feel at home, including fresh flowers and treats! We will definitely return.

Great place! Love that we could bring our dogs. Area was super walkable and super close to the mountains! Would absolutely come back!

We (plus our dog) had a perfect long weekend at Carmelita Cabana. The space was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchen had the basics, and we were able to cook easy meals for two. We appreciated the cleanliness of the space but also liked that there was a vacuum to clean up any dirt we might have brought in. The living area and bedroom stayed a very comfortable temperature and we had no issues with being too cold/too warm. Our dog can be sensitive to noises in a new place, but she had no issues whatsoever. The view was unbeatable, and our only problem was that our trip wasn’t long enough!

Perfect place to stay at for a cozy weekend in the Tahoe area. Heater for the house and water works great and driveway has space for 2 cars easily. Kitchen also has all the Tupperware you will need.

Suzanne is a wonderful host! She is so kind, attentive to the needs of her guests. I am touched by her caring spirit. The cottage will always hold a special place in my heart.

We had a great time at Doug's place. It is well-equipped and close to all the casinos, etc. We would not hesitate renting this Airbnb again.

Fantastic little place! Conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants and the lake. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we enjoyed the soothing sound of water behind the house. While the house is small, the space is well-designed and perfect for two. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommend!

Small but comfortable cabin in a great location. Very quiet neighborhood. The fully fenced large backyard and small mudroom are nice features. Had everything we needed for a very pleasant visit.

What a charming and cozy little cabin! I came here for a personal retreat in November. The cabin was built in 1917, but has been updated and has all the necessary modern conveniences including WiFi. Clio is a small town on the edge of the Feather River, so often frequented by wildlife. I saw deer, quail and wild turkeys wandering by the windows. The River is only 3 blocks away and one night I saw the most gorgeous sunset there. The neighborhood is very quiet and located near lots of great hiking. I hiked to Grass and Madora Lakes, both beautiful and still showing some fall color. The nights and mornings were chilly so I build fires in the little wood stove and it kept me very toasty! Cami and Lori welcomed me with a couple of nice 1/2 bottles of wine and a sweet card, left some chocolates in the bedroom. Nice touches. Everything was thoughtfully and simply deocrated and organized. I look forward to my next retreat!

this place was definitely agreat stay! The location was awesome, right outside of town lots of trees around. The Airbnb‘s open windows made it feel like I was camping but with all the lovely amenities of electricity and showers. The host was very responsive and friendly when I arrived, even though it was late at night. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!

Very friendly & helpful communication! The tiny home had everything we could have needed. We are tall-ish (6’) and did just fine, had to hunch over in the bed area, but all of this was well described in the listing. Hot shower was lovely after a day at Empire park. The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of places to eat and cute shops just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!

This tiny home fit my bill because I wanted a unique experience within a few hours drive from the Bay Area. Surrounded by vineyards, animal farms, and a short walk from wine tasting— truly pleasant! One thing to be mindful of is the loft bed— able body recommended since it’s 6 steps up the metal ladder (I hope the host change it to flat wood steps in the future to make it less painful for ingress/egress on the foot).

Perfect peaceful retreat from my grind in SF. The tinyhouse ADU is exactly as described and felt very private.

Ulee’s Gold is well…gold! This was my second time staying here. Deanna had made a few changes that made the place even better than before. She added a dresser in place of the desk and added a little bench by the door. It’s all the little things she thinks of that I love the most, like providing little jars of oil and sugars and tea and more. I always feel at home here and never want to leave. I love this place so much! This place is perfect for a solo retreat and I plan on coming here again! You can also bring your dog. Thank you, Deanna for creating such a cozy little cabin for the perfect getaway away!

We didn’t have an AWD vehicle so we couldn’t make it up the hill, so we did park at the bottom- which was a little difficult. Had to make a couple trips and it is a decent walk especially in the rain and mud. Just make sure you are prepared for a walk or bring a vehicle that can handle big ruts and really muddy roads! (Not the hosts fault by any means and they clearly state that you need an AWD car in details!) The outdoor bathtub was frickin amazing! I felt like I was at a spa retreat. We loved this cozy cabin. Bed was comfy, things were clean, and everything was straightforward and easy to use. Kitchen had a rather miscellaneous selection of utensils and such so I’d suggest keeping it simple for meals. We went on a short walk around the property and came back with quite a few ticks. So that was not fun, but also not anyone’s fault. All in all- would absolutely 10/10 recommend staying here! I wish I could live there!

Had a great relaxing stay, the host had a lot of Amazon packages delivered but overall it was great.

Great stay for group of friends for a weeklong ski trip. Place was even better than the photos. Fireplace excellent for drying out wet ski gear. Couch was comfy and big enough for someone to sleep on. Steep street up to driveway, definitely bring chains or 4WD to get up it on snowy days. Overall would recommend this place!

Wonderful place to unplug and relax. We loved everything especially the record player in the room. We listened to every album. They love dogs and my pooch had so much fun pretending he is a big mountain dog. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the area. It most certainly is rustic but not roughing it. My favorite way to travel. Plus the hot springs are nearby! So much outdoorsy fun to help you feel alive ❤️

Wonderful stay. Super cosy and comfortable place - nice coffee. The setting is so quiet, peacefully and beautiful, we saw deer out the window on two occasions! We would love to stay again.
