Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Tromsdalen

We had a lovely stay at Ingelinn's apartment. The accommodation is located outside the city center but is easily accessible via two bus lines and is less than a 5-minute walk to two supermarkets, which compensates for the lack of restaurants in the area. A bus line also allows you to reach the airport without changing. The apartment is cute, well decorated and rather well-equipped for cooking. Communication with our host was very smooth and fast. We won't hesitate to return during our next stay in Tromsø!

The host was willing to communicate and coordinate people's needs and were helpful.Just a small bug in the translation function in the system that led to a misunderstanding with the final check out time, which was resolved smoothly in the end, which was much appreciated.

The place is small but very welcoming. Segar was the best host I've ever encountered. Very proactive at the beginning to ensure that everything was perfect, making yourself available to buy a magic wand and small containers that I was missing. In less than 2 hours had it all my disposition. Even without being listed installed a tumble dryer at his suggestion! It was fantastic. After this initial approach let me enjoy the studio without interfering with my stay at all. Perfect!

This is a very comfortable homestay, warmly arranged rooms with all the daily necessities, and the stay experience is fantastic.The location of the B&B is good, there is a bus number 26 nearby, making it very convenient to get around.Although not in the city, but because of this, it is possible to enjoy the beautiful nature scenery and the quiet and pleasant surroundings.The host was very friendly and communicative, and was able to resolve issues in a timely manner when there was a problem, making for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.Highly recommended!

The immaculate apartment had everything you would want for a short stay. It is away from the city centre but the local busses run at regular intervals and well into the early hours. After a northern lights trip I noticed the regular bus was running at 02.30! The bus stop is 5 minutes away with busses running every 10 minutes or so. The view of the city from just outside the apartment is wonderful and I managed to get some great photos of the Aurora over the backdrop of Tromsø. There are 2 well stocked supermarkets close by, one a 3 minute walk the other a 5 minute walk. For anyone who doesn’t know, in Norway, alcohol cannot be bought after 8pm on a Friday and 6pm on a weekend. I got caught out by my lack of local knowledge. In short the apartment the location and the host were everything I wished for.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Yngvild's place during our trip through Norway in March. The apartment is very cosy and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen that we put to good use. We had some issues finding the access path to the house, which is not easy to find in winter with plenty of snow on the ground and icy roads to watch out for. In the end all was well and we had a great time in Tromsø!

Evelinn's house is very exquisite and beautiful. Everything is perfect. She also helped us arrange the air mattress bed. She is very welcoming and considerate.

Wonderful apartment, highly recommended. Light and airy and south facing so it gets the sun with nice views over the town and the fjord. Well appointed and comfortable, lovely comfortable bed. Easy to access, the local bus from the airport stops very close. Great location for an easy walk to the centre of Tromso. Quiet. You can’t go wrong. Great communication from Tor Andre.

Incredibly nice and accommodating host. Available almost 24/7. If you like a quiet, family-friendly, natural location, there is nothing better. With the buses you are quickly in the center or wherever. Shopping and bus stop less than 5 minutes away. Museum and fjord are about 10 minutes away. We were there for 8 days and would have liked to have stayed longer. Thanks Sten Ivar.

Merethe and Aage were both lovely hosts! The Airbnb was conveniently located close to the city centre but far enough that we were able to see the northern lights! The place was clean and cosy, and we were greeted with a welcome basket too. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay here again if I visited Tromso again. Thank you!

Great appointment for University visitors. Campus is 10 min walking distance. The apartment is cozy and has everything one might need. Two big supermarkets nearby and the gym is just two floors down. The furniture in the kitchen has seen its days, but is clean. And the kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Worth every cent paid.

Felt like home away from home. Location is closer to the city center reachable by bus. Benedicte was very responsive and gave clear guidance to make the best out of our stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Christian & Rakel’s home near Tromsø! It’s a comfortable and cozy basement surrounded by beautiful views and hiking right out the door. The home is well-stocked with everything you’ll need to cook and relax. We were really hoping to see the northern lights, but knew it was a risk at such a late date and tail end of the Aurora season. We didn’t have success at the beginning of the week, there was a lot of cloud cover, rain and snow. However, we found a website that helped a lot and we drove 1 1/2 hours one night and 2 1/2 hours the next night and experienced wonderful views of the northern lights!!!! If the sky had been clear, we likely could have seen them at Christian & Rakel’s place. But it was well worth the drive for us. Christian and Rakel were lovely hosts! We had wonderful conversations and they were very responsive and helpful. On the trip we saw a lot of wildlife: moose, reindeer, eagles and other birds. The scenery is breathtaking!!

Jarle was a responsive host & the location was peaceful and had busy routes local to it.

We just finished our stay in Tromsø. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our hosts and the home. We saw the view on the photos, but it still shocks you when you walk in. We spent many hours looking out the windows and enjoying the beautiful city. Eirik and Karina were extremely responsive and proactive with all communications. They checked in periodically to make sure we were okay. Their home is immaculate and lent itself well to our family, as described. We even saw the auroras from the balcony on a clear night. Thank you, we would come again in a heartbeat!

What a perfect place to spend some time in Tromso! Kristin Helene was very communicative from the start. We appreciated her warm welcome. We were not able to meet her in person but the personal note left on the table was such a nice touch. We liked being in Hamna a bit removed from the buzzing city center and only 30 min by bus (bus 28 stop is right down the street). Kristin's apartment is the most homey Airbnb we've ever stayed in and was so comfortable. BTW, the beds are amazing and there is more that you need. We enjoyed the last bit of the northern lights from the porch. We hope to be back one day. Thanks Kristin for sharing your sweet home with us.

Siril was very friendly and helpful. The house was very cozy and because Christmas was also lovingly decorated. We felt very comfortable. Glad to come back.

What a truly fun and artsy house! We were looking for a rental that was easy to walk around to explore Tromso and this house fit the bill! It was great that it was a Yes house…we brought a few groceries but it helped to be able to use a few things to supplement. Otherwise we ate out around town and explored local cuisine. Very responsive and so very helpful with an early check in. Such a fun artsy vibe!

A beautiful family home in Tromso with a spectacular view over the fjord. We saw the Northern Lights on our first night from the balcony! Buses to the city centre and the airport are a couple of minutes walk away and are really frequent. You don’t need a car. Would recommend a trip up the mountain in the cable car. Spectacular views over Tromso and amazing aurora that filled the sky. The house was warm, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The only draw back was having only one bathroom between 6 people but that is clear from the description.

Modern new house with lots of automated electronic equipment. Neat and clean. The landlord promptly reminded us to see the Aurora, which was a very pleasant living experience.

We had a great time in Tromso, we love the house. The house is spacious and was comfortable for the 8 of us. There are 2 bathrooms but only one has a shower/bathtub, so it requires a bit of organization. The beds are very comfortable, we slept like babies. The is a great location, overlooking a fjord, and walking distance to a bus stop to go to Tromso (20 minutes bus ride). The supermarket is also walking distance, and open until 23:00 every day. The lighting system is a bit strange and needs practice to understand how it works 😉. Overall, the house is clean although for that price there is room for improvement.
