Private suite vacation rentals in Traverse City

All was great! She even had some food in the fridge. Nothing here to complain about regarding the hosts. The only challenging piece is the street sign is set back on a wooden post as it is a private drive rather than a street off Peninsula Drive.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Taylor's. They were very kind and accommodating. Everything was as described. My children loved the toys and play area, and Taylor even set out another game for them to play while we were there. As others have said, the bed is very comfortable. While there was a lock on the bedroom door with the large bed, there isn't one on the basement door to the overall space and two twin beds. This wasn't an issue but just for awareness for others. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels for us to use. We didn't spend much time there, as we were traveling about town, but wish we could have, as it was a nice space. We hope to stay there again if something brings us into town.

My first experience with an Airbnb. It was beyond amazing Jeffrey was a great host, and very communicative! The apartment was very cozy and had everything one would need.. including information about what to do around the area! would definitely come back! can't say enough!

Aaron's place was perfect for my fiancé and I for a few days in Frankfort. Location is great - we walked into town and to the beach every day. The place itself was comfortable and had all we needed for three nights. Would recommend and stay here again!

Ellen was a wonderful host and the location was very peaceful and easy to locate. The space was stocked with anything you might want or need. You can tell the hosts are detail oriented and want their guests to feel welcome and comfortable. Ellen even prepared delicious and fresh fruits and breads to fuel for hikes. Would not hesitate to book and stay again! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mary and Dan were delightful hosts. We had a small issue with the gas fireplace not working the night we arrived, but Dan was over the next morning to fix it and brought us an anniversary gift of my favorite bottle of wine from Leelanau Cellers (which is conveniently located right across from the lodge). The lodge property is beautiful and peaceful. Mary and Dan’s recommendations for things to do and places to eat were top notch. We enjoyed the beautiful views at the restaurant across the way, which is next door to the winery. We happened to stumble across the lodge while looking for places to stay in this area and I am so glad we did because it was an absolutely perfect accommodation. I hope to return in the future, and have already recommended the lodge to friends and family. Thank you Mary and Dan for a wonderful weekend! We will never forget it.

This place is so beautiful! The location right on the bluff is breathtaking and waking up to a view of the lake was such a privilege. The place has nearly everything one might need to prep your own meals and eat in. The space was clean and check in was very easy. It’s a few minutes drive from Frankfort, but feels like you’re secluded in the best possible way. I would definitely stay again.

Stunning setting with private beach on GTB. We enjoy getting to know home owners and their hospitality style. This is part of the fun! Thank you. I missed that there wasn’t a stove but that was on me. We were able to adjust our meals to using only a microwave and toaster. Hope to return!

Great location in Suttons Bay for our visit. Close proximity to TART bike trail and plenty of wineries, restaurants, and a nearby waterfront park. Can’t beat the views in the fall time. Great hosts who were friendly and accommodating. Space was very clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again!

This place was great. Never felt like you were in a basement. Decorated very well, quiet and clean. Everything was easy to find labeled for ease. Chris provided games, maps, local magazines along with his suggestions of thing to do. Close to town but keep away from the busyness. Would highly recommend.

We had a great vacation and this was a wonderful place to stay. Pam and her Ken were awesome hosts. When we arrived, we had cookies that they had left for us from their general store, just up the road. Then brought fresh baked, frosted sugar cookies the next day. We had pizzas from the general store for dinner and they were amazing. Great food. They have 77 acres you can walk, beautiful decks, and the fire pit and barbecue grill were very nice. I think they are even adding a new second fire pit coming soon. We all agreed we would stay here again any time. Thank you to the hosts for everything!

Had a great stay at Cory's. Very private and quiet area but close to a great coffee shop, brewery, restaurant, and ice cream shop in Lake Ann. The "water closets" were unique, but they were needed so we didn't all have to fight for the main bath room and shower, which are dated but work fine. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and a dog. Cory was sure to have the box fan and screen in the 3rd bedroom for us which we definitely needed with no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. We would stay here again.

Great place, peaceful; relaxing, close enough to everything we wanted to see! We did a lot in 2 days, charlevoix, petoskey, sleeping bear dunes, tunnel of trees, harbor springs. The hot tub at night was a great touch, and the place was super clean!! Beds comfortable, bathroom nice! Very spacious and lovely overall

Our stay was great! Nancy was thoughtful and kind, leaving a nice note, snacks and drinks for us that were so helpful. The space was clean and perfect for the two of us.

Brian was an extremely good host. We had snow falling the entire time during our stay and Brian shoveled out pathways for us to walk, to our car and even brushed off our car on multiple occasions. We had a little trouble with his toilet and not flushing and Brian responded and had it fixed the very next day. We also were having problems getting into his place and within minutes he had it fixed for us. He was always there when needed and always love to hear his recommendations and conversations. Will definitely be coming back!

Sara's place is at a great location between the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse city. The beds were super comfortable and the location was quiet and peaceful.

We went in winter and it was a magical place! The cozy fire, the serene atmosphere, the decor and beautiful setting all made for just the getaway we were hoping to have. The bed was super comfortable and the space was exactly what we hoped for. The surrounding area has more than plenty to experience, but it was also a place to be at home in and relax as well.

Right on Lake Michigan. Great views; we kept our windows open and listened to the waves crash all through the night. As private a beach as you'll find anywhere. Very friendly and hospitable hosts and a cute 2-bedroom. Perfect!

Jeanne and Chad‘s place is wonderful even in the dead of winter! This is my second time there and it is so renewed my soul. Tons of things to do in winter both non-motorized like cross-country and snowshoeing and hiking and motorized like snowmobiling, etc.. Easy drive to many places without having to go hours to find a ski place. What can I say about that? Excellent hot tub love it. Love it. Beautiful setting with the river. The cute animals well maintain grounds responsiveness. The little kitchenette has most anything you can imagine to make most anything I brought mostly pre-cooked frozen things so I wouldn’t have to put a lot of time and effort into my cooking, but it was great indoor activities, games, puzzles, Internet, warm, and cozy. Next time, maybe I can come back when it’s actually warm weather

This carriage house was a perfect get-away for my mom and I this past weekend. The surroundings were beautiful; we timed it perfectly for the trees changing color! The fireplace made it so cozy and enjoyable and the beds were so comfy- perfect for long hours of reading and relaxing. When we wanted to get out and about TC was a quick drive around the bay. It was a wonderful weekend away!
