This is a lovely, quiet and private space. Melissa and Matt have decorated and equipped the annex beautifully with function in mind. I found the space ready to arrive and relax. There are some lovely walks on nearby public footpaths.

What an interesting and quirky place to stay! If you want to step back in time with modern amenities then this is the place for you. Cygnet Thatch has a fantastically well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and a huge log fire. A great find:)

Absolutely wonderful stay! Patricia and Alastair were the loveliest and most thoughtful hosts—so communicative, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. There were so many personal touches around the house that made our stay extra memorable. The house itself is gorgeous—beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and plenty of inviting spaces to relax in. We were in town for a wedding locally at Hadsham Farms, and following advice from Patricia, arranging transport with the local taxi firm was a breeze. Very good spot to stay if you are at a wedding over that way. I've stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, but this place is my absolute favourite—thanks to Patricia and Alastair, who are truly exceptional hosts. I’m already planning to coming back for a weekend getaway later this summer/early autumn! Thank you both so much for such a wonderful experience—we truly appreciated every moment.

Excellent accommodation in idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The annex is beautifully furnished, with everything provided for a comfortable stay. The amazing garden was an ideal place to relax. The area is lovely, close to Rutland Water, with pleasant walks. We would love to return to explore the area further. Our host, Veronica, communicated well prior to our arrival and was on hand should we need anything. Thank you.

The barn was just like the pictures and very clean which was perfect as we was travelling with a baby. It’s very peaceful with lovely views from the garden and would definitely recommend. If you are travelling with dogs just note there is not direct access to the garden from inside the property as it is accessed through a gate round the front of barn.

We thoroughly recommend The Little Forge for a stay in the Cotswolds - it was so pretty, peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus! We stayed here for our mini moon after our wedding for a bit of rest and relaxation and got just that! Kelly gave us super clear instructions of where to park and how to get in - all really easy. The cottage itself is really pretty, has all the home comforts you could possibly need as well as being in walking distance to a great pub with delicious food and really good service. It was peaceful and relaxing - Kelly had thought of all amenities you might need during your stay - it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is a great base to explore lots of the Cotswolds - we enjoyed Stow-on-the-Wold, walk no. 4 in the "40 walks in the Cotswolds" book, Cowley Manor Experimental for an afternoon spa trip and The Feathered Nest. We loved our stay - would love to come again some time! Thank you!

We loved our time in the Jasmine Cottage! After 5 busy days sight seeing in London, this was the perfect place to stay with our 8 and 5 year old sons to just relax and enjoy a slower paced few days. A 1 minute walk (at most) to the town shops, restaurant, and water. Everything looked exactly like the photos, the host was extremely responsive and helpful, and the location could not have been better. We already miss it and will look back fondly on our time at Jasmine Cottage for many years to come!

Simply perfect! The hamlet is a haven of unparalleled tranquility. In Lantern Cottage itself we marvelled at the tasteful design and a ceaseless feast of wonderful quirkiness. The beautifully tended garden is a delightful place to find solitude. One of the highlights of our many travels this idyllic cottage is a definite revisit.

From 1st contact, Patricia was quick to reply & friendly. Her lodge was spotless and equipped with everything u cld want. Welcome pack of bread / milk etc such a lovely thought. Flowers and plants around the lodge are absolutely beautiful! The park itself is so peaceful. Would definately recommend

I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Easy walk to the pub across the fields and a lovely owner who was very responsive and willing to share her dogs with our children! Pool is a fab bonus and location is great for local villages and attractions, such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We didn’t want to leave and have already re booked!

We had a lovely break here whilst visiting family nearby, Stuart was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was provided, absolutely gorgeous area and all round welcoming atmosphere. Stuart even kindly installed WiFi for us- as signal is hit and miss in the area. Very clean Caravan as well and well equipped. Really lovely stay. Extremely pristine and private airbnb, perfect for dogs and so peaceful! If your only knowledge of the English countryside is from romantic movies, then this is pretty much 100% as dreamy as you would hope. Angela was always available and responded in an extremely timely manner. We have stayed in many places that claim the pool is heated only to be disappointed. This pool was so warm we could swim in 18c weather on a cloudy day. We loved everything about our stay and the kitchen is very generously stocked with knives, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, etc. We could not recommend this airbnb and the hosts enough! The neighbours are also so kind and warm and even suggested walking routes for us and the dog. Don’t hesitate and book in now!

We had the best time, the pool is amazing!! The time slots were ideal and work really well- great pool for adults and children. Beautiful cottage, lovely gardens-we felt so at home, nothing was too much trouble for Bridget. The children have now also found a new love for tennis! We def hope to return … 10 out of 10 from us!!

We’ve just got home from our stay and I must admit we’ve never stayed on a complex like this before. However we fancied something different, booked very last minute and it didn’t disappoint. It had everything you needed, good size, and great outdoor space with a gorgeous hot tub and the weather was perfect. On site you have the additional facilities, the lakes for lovely walks and we couldn’t resist the crazy golf. We were also very lucky to make some duck friends who made the stay even more perfect. We will definitely come back and stay here.

This was my second time staying here. It's a lovely little apartment, feels really homely. Perfectly clean and has everything you could need. The apartment is very easy to find and check-in to. Adam is a great host, very friendly and fast to respond to messages, he goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I will definitely be staying again!

Perfect location for a short break. The Hayloft was better than the pictures showed. Everything in the place was to a very high standard and we will be booking again. Ticked all the boxes for us as a short break with our dog.

We had a lovely stay at Olivia’s place. It was clean, quiet and in beautiful surroundings. The apple juice and eggs were a nice touch and Olivia and her family welcomed us personally. Overall a very enjoyable stay, thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at "Bonny Doon" ! Faye was absolutely lovely, constantly responding to messages and just all-round being an amazing host for me and my partner. The listing was exactly as described and looked just like photos, if not better in person ! We adored the cinema-like projector and surround sound which we used non-stop on our stay. The garden was spacious and beautiful, and we enjoyed wandering down throughout our stay to see the local wildlife. We will definitely be staying again and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Northamptonshire area !! Thank you for such a wonderful few days away !

I've stayed in a few places but I must say this was the nicest place we have stayed, left us a pile of goodies and provisions so not having to go to shops, the place is spotless and very well laid out even the small bedroom was big enough for one of us, 2 showers in the property meant not waiting on the 3 of us to use one, livingroom was comfy as anything and sky tv was great, our host Sarah replied to any texts we sent almost immediately and left us a gift of greyhound keyrings as she knew we were down for greyhound derby at towcester, the outdoor space is lovely and very private and it was needed as it was in the high 20s whilst we were there, as soon as I get dates for next years derby we will be booking again, thank you Sarah for allowing us to book I hope this feedback gets you loads of bookings as you deserve it with the way your property is presented xx Robert Hawthorn

absolutely chuffed with my weekend here. Keith welcomed us and was very friendly and talked is through the property and anything we needed to know..goes above and beyond ! place has been done up gorgeous well thought out whatever we needed was there and more. Food and drinks where left for us which went down well. Welcome pack if new to area with information. WiFi and sound bar on tv. Cute selection of games and puzzles. Beds comfortable. Highly recommend and would come again 🥰🧡
