Farmstay vacation rentals in Tornado Alley

My daughter and I travel around to fishing tournaments and this place was one of the top for what we look for, quiet, close proximity, dog friendly. Perfect place to relax both before and after the tournament!

Fantastic getaway!!!! Very peaceful, awe-inspiring sunrises. Beautiful evenings on the patio with a lovely view and a nice fire! We heard owls, bob white quail, saw coyotes, turkeys, roadrunners and deer. After the sun went down, Sasquatch had a beer with us around the fire! Pretty good guy, once he loosened up a bit! Outdoor shower is a great experience! Definitely a great place to relax and get away! We’ve been here many times and hope we can get back soon! Jennifer is a great host!!!!!

The cabin was a great place to sit back and enjoy. She had everything in place for comfort and to relax from the soft beds to the wonderfull quote on the decorations. Will definitely be back.

Nice house in a peaceful location. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise & the sunset.

Kelli's place provides plenty of space for a quiet get-away. I with I would have planned for extra time to enjoy the location for more than my short stay.

We only stayed for one night during our cross country road trip. Loved the property and took several walks around the wildflower meadow with our dogs and one of the farm cats. So peaceful and beautiful! House was well stocked with everything we need and more. Bonus was the friendly farm cats ❤️.

Cozy house located near the end of a country road, nestled behind trees providing privacy and serenity, and only a few minutes out of the city. We were greeted with half a dozen fresh eggs and homemade peanut butter cookies that were delicious. Dawnette was very responsive and made us feel right at home. I will definitely look for this place again for future stays.

I can’t say I’ve stayed the night in a scale house until last night. This is a great, no frills, place to stop and lay your head if you’re passing through or in for the weekend. The king bed is really comfortable! The space is just as described. Ryan was really nice and flexible with a quick schedule change on our end.

It was well worth it! Beautiful, serene, and just what the doctor ordered. The new hot tub was top notch. Perfect for our honeymoon. The patio was very nice and private. We even got to listen to the roosters talk the next morning ❣️

Loved your bungalow. It was so adorable and very welcoming, like come on in, have dinner and talk. the pond is beautiful with nice crappies for the catching. My wife caught a crappie that was at least 1.5 lbs it's colors were so define and beautiful and caught 1 lb and a 2 lb bass. The land is very well manicured and didn't feel like would have to really worry too much. My dog had a great time chasing bunnies and squirrels. The home is up to date and beautiful. I definitely recommend this stay I highly recommend.

The Sunset Saloon was absolutely what I had been looking for to have a quiet getaway. I only live 30 minutes from this great place, and we went just to get out of the city and get some peace and quiet. It did not disappoint. It's location on the great Texas Plains is surrounded by birds chirping, crickets singing, thousdands of stars, and NO noise! The Airbnb itself is full of charm, and equipped with everything you might need. There really aren't enough words to describe this hidden gem, so make sure you go see it yourself! We will definitely be visiting again.

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse...the openness of the downstairs space was very warm and welcoming...the outdoor space was nice, specifically enjoyed the birdhouse...the patio was a great place to sit have coffee in the morning and watch the birds... I think the only two things I would change would be to maybe make the front door walkway a bit nicer...it had apparently rained hard before we got there and it was very muddy with like an indoor rug thrown out to walk on...a few pavers were there but not enough to help with the mud... The stairs are a bit treacherous when you have little ones with you...I should have paid more attention to that detail so that's on me... For the area I think the nightly is a bit high but the space and calm was worth it for us for this trip... Thank you!!!

Beautiful house and property. Rain kept us at the house more than expected and we fully enjoyed our stay!

This was a long overdue get together with my adult siblings. The place couldn’t have been more perfect for spending a weekend together. The kitchen had everything, it was cozy, plenty of places to chat, hang out, play cards and dominos. Four bedrooms and the whole place was beautiful with a Koi pond, covered patio, Fireplace. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay. Jennifer was very responsive when we had a question. We will definitely be going back. A+ for this experience.

We were attending a family wedding in Hutchison and decided to explore a rental instead of hotels. We are so glad we did! Far more fun to stay at Bontrager Farms, and more affordable too. Fresh raw milk and eggs for our use were a bonus! Charming farm stay that we would recommend to friends.

So relaxing and beautiful. I wish I had allocated more time to spend doing nothing at the barn. OUTSTANDING hosts. So considerate and people focused. Definitely living their walk with Christ, based on what I witnessed on everything from review responses to treatment of animals to interaction with what I'm assuming was a family member. Very proactive and thoughtful. A joy to witness. If you are 'on the fence ' about booking, DO IT!

To say Mandi's place was beautiful and relaxing would be a complete understatement. Mandi communicated all of the instructions in advance, and quickly responded when we had a question after arrival. We loved the quiet, private location and the house was cozy and inviting. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend in Luther for our nephew's wedding, and we are already looking forward to staying here again.

This place was absolutely wonderful! It has a great old country home feel. The route to the home was beautiful and scenic. Jeremy and Kristie were very kind and left us a comfy and clean home to stay at! My family and I enjoyed our stay vastly and would highly recommend :)

This was our 2nd stay at Lynnette's farm and we absolutely loved our stay. The home is exactly as described and very clean. Lynnette is very welcoming and willing to share her knowledge of farming with guests. Our children loved learning about the animals, holding the chicks, meeting the pigs, sheep, geese, and dogs. If you are looking for a calm and relaxing space where you can slow down and kids can explore, this is the place. We plan to come back again!

We enjoyed our stay at the farm! The house was comfortable and came equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The property is beautiful. For kids, there's plenty of wide open spaces to run around, slides and other equipment for to play on, and goats to pet. Easy access to I-40 and a short trip to Weatherford.

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy a quiet relaxing place to stay. We drove our side-by-side around the county and enjoyed the countryside. Had bond fires in the evening and relaxed, cooked hot dogs and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful. Tim and Lisa are great hosts.

It was peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. I found it very comfortable, a real home away from home. The house was just a few miles off the main thoroughfares but close to the places I needed to frequent. Very impressed.
