I had a great time in this tastefully renovated house. The place is convenient, spacious and comfortable. The location is very quiet, perfect for resting after a stay in a larger city. So I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

It was a very nice place to stay! They cooled glasses in the freezer, there were plenty of dishes, and the scenery was very beautiful, so we had a lovely time. Thank you. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!

It's a quiet and tidy place. The bedding was also clean. It's a great place to stay, going back and forth between the golf course and nearby hot springs.

I stayed at Makiko’s house with three friends, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The house looks exactly as described — cozy, clean, and full of charm. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful residential area and has a beautiful garden where two adorable dogs live. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of animals — the dogs stay in a separate area and won’t enter your rooms, so you can relax comfortably. The location is also perfect — it’s just about a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and the city center. Kumamoto Castle is absolutely breathtaking — it’s massive, rich in history, and unlike anything you’ll see elsewhere. It’s definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Makiko is a wonderful host — incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and quick to respond to any questions. She made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. If I ever have the chance to visit Kumamoto again, I would definitely love to stay at Makiko’s house once more. Highly recomme
