Waterfront vacation rentals in Thunder Bay, Unorganized

Had a wonderful time with two moms and three kids under 10. Lots of space, fun things to do, very well appointed for families.

Convenient location on the main drag in downtown Houghton. Cool exterior, spotless interior. 10/10, will definitely try to stay here again when I visit MTU.

Loved our stay at Lexie’s place! The side-by-side units worked perfectly for our group. Cool, loft-style apartments right in downtown Houghton! We are big fans and can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay was just what we needed. The home was just like the photos. It was beautiful. The views of the lake were amazing. The hot tub was a perfect additional spot to enjoy lake views. The home was stocked with everything we could want. We will definitely be back.

Four good friends had an absolutely fabulous time at Viewpoint. We loved just looking out at the lake, each day was different - grey and windy, beautiful sunshine and calm and a bit in between. All magical. We had fun cooking together in the very well appointed kitchen and had great fires each night. We thought we might be snowshoeing - but no snow changed our plans - hiked at Tettegouche, walked the bike trail conveniently right across the road!! Enjoyed a wonderful sauna at Sisu + Loyly in Grand Marais - highly recommend! All in all a wonderful mini retreat. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

I loved her cozy Airbnb! Felt like I was home 🏡 but a lot colder and way more snow 😊. Very very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals which is not always the case. PLENTY of sleeping room. It was just my daughter and I but wanted to check it out for the summer time and I will try to rent it again for then. Cheryl was super sweet and kind. We had an issue but she was very quick to respond and fix the situation. GREAT host! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

We rented Alexandra's beautiful home for a company retreat and it was so wonderful we are already hoping to rent it again. The majority of my team is local but the others were from across CAN and the US. We were all equally blown away by the view and the spaciousness. It's proximity to town made it easy to grab folks from the airport and for any last minute runs for supplies. (There is also a connivence store only a few minutes away.) We were there to play and test board games, and there was ample room to set up multiple games across various tables. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. There was more than enough dish-ware, supplies and linens/towels. It does get warm with the floor to ceiling windows but as long as you use the blinds and the many fans it is never to uncomfortable. The private beach and protected swimming area was great for refreshing dips and everyone loved the kayaks and paddle boards. 100 would recommend and stay again! Thank you!

Nice cozy little cabin in a beautiful part of the world. Caught up with an old friend, enjoyed a few local spots and caught some amazing waterfall scenery/ trails.

This was the best AirBNB experience we’ve ever had! The unit is pristine and you can’t beat this view of Lake Superior. The wood burning fireplace also makes it very cozy. We had a few minor issues and Jeremiah was incredibly responsive. The building is a little dated, don’t get your hopes up on the amenities, but the unit itself is wonderful. This was my husband’s first time to the North Shore, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We cannot wait to come back. Had a lovely stay at Christine's condo while we did a ski weekend at Lutsen Mountains. The place is very snug and has everything you could need, we used the kitchen to cook a meal one evening and we really enjoyed the fireplace. Love that the building itself has a hot tub and sauna, perfect for apres ski :)

Beautiful and cozy spot. Small but perfectly set up for two couples or a small family. We would definitely stay here again. Great location for tons of adventures.

The location is perfect and the views are amazing. Super comfortable, well equipped and convenient. The open kitchen/living room/dining room is sheer heaven. We sat in the front room and gazed out at Lake Superior, feeling so lucky to be there.

This place was perfect to stay at for a weekend of skiing at Lutsen. The view of Lake Superior from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! The pool and hot tub were conveniently located in the same building and easy to find. We would stay at this place again!

This place is incredibly peaceful and has outstanding views! Waking up looking directly at Lake Superior is something that everyone has to experience, along with having their morning coffee on the platform overlooking the lake and a creek flowing into it! The place is very cozy and welcoming, and perfect for a couple getaway!
