Monthly Rentals in Thornton Gap

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

The location is really good and the house is fantastic. Full kitchen with all the cooking supplies, easy to make food. The fireplace and the hot tub were amazing, too. Everything was easily accessed. The bedrooms are all nicely furnished with style, all nice and clean. Great experience, would love to come back.

Meagan’s place was quiet and a great getaway for the weekend. Located near Thornton Gap entrance of SNP, it’s a lovely spot to post up after a day of hiking.

Kara’s place was super convenient for my work trip as I was working right down the road at Shenandoah Woods. It was quiet, clean and accessible to Luray within 15mins where the restaurants were. Would stay again!
