The village of Lemmer is located exactly on the edge of Friesland and Flevoland (but in Friesland). It is also called 'the gate of Friesland'. Lemmer is beautifully situated on the IJsselmeer and is therefore, especially in the summer, a wonderful place for a day trip. It is also an old village, history goes way back, and you can see that in the streets with beautiful old architecture. You can stroll through the small street (there are quite a few nice shops) or enjoy socializing in the port of Lemmer.

In de zomer is het strand in Lemmer altijd lekker druk. Voor een verkoelende duik of even relaxen op je handdoek op het strand. Het strand is 15 min rijden vanaf de B&B.
