Monthly Rentals in The Lime

Ameda has done a wonderful job furnishing and decorating her tiny house. The mattress is the most comfortable of any Airbnb at which I've stayed in the Caribbean, and the kitchen, bathroom, and living area are all tastefully appointed and provide all of the amenities that I needed. Ameda was always responsive and helpful with local knowledge and answers to my questions. The location itself is great for those with a car or who are willing to walk or take the local bus (which I highly recommend!). RAM's supermarket is down Maurice Bishop Highway, as are the Total Extreme Fitness gym and the incredible Indian food at Chai Cafe (please say hi to Kumar and Crystal for me!). Grand Anse Beach is a short bus ride away, and True Blue and Container Park are a 20-minute walk in the opposite direction. The only caveat is that the residential neighborhood has roaming roosters who start crowing early in the morning, so if you're a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs :)

Johanna was a very kind and responsive host who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She picked us up at the airport and dropped us back off, even allowing us to stay past check out due to a late flight. She is incredibly knowledgeable of the island and a great tour guide. Her hike at Annandale falls was informative and fun. Her airbnb is in a great location to walk to the beach while still being private and peaceful. The view is incredible of grand anse beach. We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Blue and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Grenada. Thank you again Johanna!

The apartment was perfect: well situated, comfortable, well appointed and very clean. It even had beach towels for our use! Gleetha was so welcoming and always trying to help: she is a gem. We had a perfect stay. A car we rented allowed us to take long trips to get away from the crowds and explore the beauties of the country as well as for short trips to the shops and the beaches. (Although beach and shops were not really very far, we would have found the heat tiring if we had had to walk everywhere and some streets don't have pavements). Gleetha was ever so helpful there too, phoning her friends to share with us good addresses and best itineraries. When arriving, we followed incorrect Google maps to find the Airbnb, so I suggest typing in the address rather than using the link from the Airbnb site.
