Fantastic apartment, we all enjoyed our stay here. The place feels luxurious, it's easy to get to and parking just next door. Perfect!

Maurits was a friendly host. He was flexible with our arrival and check-out time and we were able to leave our luggage behind until our evening flight. He lives upstairs which means that all requests were responded to quickly. The apartment was bright and cosy, just like the photos. Maurits was proactive and provided us with some wood for the fire which was great given an unseasonably cool evening in June. Lighting the fire was a delightful addition. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The sofa bed exceeded expectations. The bathroom was pristine. The location was second to none- many nice cafes and shops a short stroll away. Maurits made some great recommendations. I highly recommend his apartment.

Very nice, spacious apartment and very tastefully decorated. We felt right at home. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. There was nothing missing! Comfortable beds and a great bathroom with everything needed. The location is absolutely top! Everything is within walking distance. Diederick answered questions within a short time, great host! An absolute recommendation, we would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay, Peter and I kept in touch about arrival times and he was there to meet me on arrival and show me around and provide guidance on buses and local restaurants. The apartment was spacious and inviting, bed rooms were very comfortable, great shower room and very nice to relax in and catch up with my friends. I would recommend highly recommend this accommodation

Fabulous spot on the water, friendly and welcoming reception. House has fascinating design features. Outside space and paddle boat great when the sun is out.

My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property was just a dream.

Dear Jan Thijs, thank you for having us as your guests in your little and nice house with the beautiful garden last week. We loved to stay there and have spent a restfull time. 4 nights was definitely a little too short time, especially as we had some rain on 2 days. We spent 10 days in Ilona's vacation home and felt comfortable there from the start. Ilona and her husband Henk were very friendly, caring and helpful hosts. The amenities and location of the house were ideal for us. Due to the midsummer temperatures, we also benefited from the air conditioning in the living and sleeping area. The center of Zierikzee can be reached within minutes by foot for shopping or strolling. First and foremost, we wanted to explore Zeeland with bike tours. Due to the direct (free) parking at the house, it was easy to drive to more distant destinations by car and then start the bike tour there. We'd love to come back again.

The duration of the stay was fast and pleasant, the owner was very nice. Despite the language barrier, we made it. When we arrived, there was a small snack left, you didn't have to worry about what to eat after your arrival. Thank you so much for your pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful time at Monique's house! The accommodation is in a great location, very charmingly furnished and well equipped – it really had everything you needed. The check-in was totally uncomplicated and the contact with Monique was warm and pleasant. Especially our children felt very comfortable – especially because of the cat they lovingly baptized "Chorizo" (as we later learned, she is actually called Ollie). We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be happy to come back!

Excellent stay. The Dutch are very welcoming and always gave us good advice and with a smile when we asked. The loan of the bikes allowed us to discover the place in a very pleasant way. The advice and instructions left in the house were always very relevant. We can only recommend discovering the surroundings as well. We were really delighted and it will remain an unforgettable memory... a little regret that our stay was so brief. It was perfect. The place is really nice and has plenty of space. It is very clean and you feel very comfortable there. I can only recommend it. We only wrote but Brigitte is very nice and helpful. Gladly come back.

What a pleasure to be in Mireille and Ben's home Impeccable accommodation and very well-equipped Fantastic quiet and relaxing setting with sheep, horses, chickens as neighbors. On the edge of a lake And what a pleasure to meet Mireille and Ben, extraordinary people Always looking to please Ben showed us around on his boat and started the mill while showing it to us. A passionate man. Also not far from the city of Leiden, a 10-minute drive, which is very beautiful. We'll be happy to go back.

Had a wonderful weekend. Enjoyed the beautiful garden and of course the jacuzzi. The area is beautiful. Boat rentals nearby to take a lovely boat trip across the Linge. Friettent and liquor store within walking distance. See you the next time Mandana and Maurits!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!
