Anne made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A fantastic host, with a super comfortable bed and stunning views out the window. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Stables. Rosie was very responsive and accommodating. This made our check-in and stay stress free. Me, wife and teenage children felt right at home and slept comfortably. The house is well furnished and nicely decorated. The kitchen is spacious with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, pans, etc, that made it very easy to prepare some of our meals. There is a small grocery store a short distance from the Stables stocked with basic foods such as milk, bread, meat, fruits and vegetables. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We spent one clear evening gazing at the stars which are clearly visible given that lack of light pollution in the area. You feel remote, but it is only a short drive to the coast and to all of the amenities in Drogheda and other towns. Internet service is excellent which made it easy to stay connected and to stream videos. I highly recommend the Stables.

In all honesty I cannot fault this very cute cottage……the beds are soooo comfortable, lots of goodies in the kitchen, sparkling clean and a great shower! And the dinner we enjoyed at the Monasterboice Inn was the best meal we had in 3 weeks of touring! My only regret is that we were only there for one night! Thanks Orlagh!

I can see why Aine is a super host with the fabulous Irish warm welcome. We sat and had a great chat over a cup of tea after I took some wonderful photos of her garden and surround countryside. Such a relaxing home with warm comfortable bed, I slept like a baby. I will definitely return on my journey back to Ireland next year. Thank you Aine for such a lovely relaxing stay at your farmhouse.
