The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. Very 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country skiing trails. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Post Cabin

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Complete kitchen and dining area seating 11. Outside you are straight out in great nature, with ski slopes or the world's most beautiful bike terrain. Liten hyttevogn ved siden av en liten elv/bekk. Naturskjønt beliggenhet. Vogn har solcellepanel til lys og vedovn til oppvarming. Bålplass rett utenfor. Mulighet for å låne gratis robåt i nærmeste innsjø. Mulighet også å leie badestamp og tønnebadstue / sauna mot ekstra betaling. I sauna kan du vaske deg med varmt vann. Plassen passer fint til dem som liker seg I naturen med enkel standard overnatting. I høst/ vintertid fra ca 15.9 - 1.5 er vogna sammen med eget privat kjøkken. Hund tillatt

At 970 m above the ocean, the snow is guaranteed in the winter, and beautiful hikes start 20m from the door. 18 beds- unable to update from 16 persons due to Airbnb limitations :-) You drive all the way to the main entrance door. Terassen ligger sør/vest vendt med ettermiddag /kveldssol. Ute-villmarks møbler med bål-panne på terrassen. Eiendommen har en svært god beliggenhet mot enden av en blindgate og tilgrensede alpinbakken og langrennsløyper.
