We had a lovely stay at the firkin lodge The host was very welcoming from start to finish and the bluebell inn pub was also nice to visit. Would highly recommend this place as it nice and quiet stay. It’s ideal if you want to go somewhere quiet and to enjoy a bit of the country side.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful lodge — we’re already looking to rebook! From the moment we arrived, we couldn’t believe how spacious and spotless the lodge was. It had everything we could have asked for, and more. The kids absolutely loved it, and none of us wanted to leave. The thoughtful touches really made the difference — having Netflix in every bedroom and the living room was so convenient, (WiFi worked great)and the mood lighting created a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub was fantastic — large, clean, and perfectly positioned with stunning views over the lake. A huge thank you to our host, Jodie, who was absolutely brilliant! The kids were over the moon with the colouring books you kindly provided — such a thoughtful touch. The whole caravan park is immaculate, and the 15-minute walk into town through the forest is beautiful. We also really enjoyed the lake — it’s perfect for fishing, and we caught some decent-sized carp! We can’t wait to re-book

Had a lovely few days over new year, in this absolutely stunning lodge, even better than the photos, loads of space, our 1 year old had the best time all round the lodge, all on 1 level and really child safe. Huge living/dining/ kitchen space. large hot tub in good condition right outside on the decking. We had all the essentials you could need, could easily have stayed a week or more. Bonus having cot, highchair and plates and cutlery for baby saving car space for us. The surrounding area is stunning, really peaceful, even when the wind blows an absolute gale! Louth is a lovely little town with everything you could need, nice pubs and restaurants. Easy to find following Google maps and check in was no problem. Look forward to returning soon!

Scott gave us so many great recommendations for the area and local restaurants. The lodge itself is beautiful. Homely. The beds are so comfortable! There are lots of movies and games you are able to watch/use. We stayed in December so it was decorated up for Christmas with a lovely tree. The place was beautifully clean and the hot tub was amazing! We were also give a 10% discount for a restaurant outside of the complex. The food was beautiful. Scott is an excellent t host. He sent us so much information and a better map on how to get to the lodge. We will be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place.the location is great and the dog friendly beach was probably one the best beaches we have visited.Michelle was great host, communication was fantastic with all recommendations of what to do and any questions I had were answered within 30 minutes. The chalet was clean and tidy and very cosy. With friendly neighbours all around. Would definitely recommend and also come back. Thank you Michelle.

Beautiful space to stay, really warm, clean and cosy space with everything you need. I've stayed at Air B&B's before where they only leave you a tiny amounts of essentials, this was definitely not the case here. Everything you need to cook, stay clean and entertained was here. Good selection of books and movies. Dog friendly as well which was great. My dog really enjoyed the space 🐕 The only suggestion I have an it really is a small thing.....the television in the property could be slightly more modern. It's a very nice TV but it doesn't have the facility to watch Netflix or connect my phone to it for streaming purposes. Very minor though. The cabin is top class and I will definitely be returning some day.

We had a great stay at Sarah’s place. Tattershall lakes is beautiful and there was so much to do. The caravan was a great base to have and had everything we needed!

My partner and I love staying at the barn owl pod. It was in a beautiful location, and really good places to eat near by. The pod was very clean and a perfect getaway. Thank you!

Second time staying here and we were not disappointed. Very clean and everything available to cook our christmas dinner. Dogs loved it too especially as they were left lovely toys to play with. Would highly recommend - thank you Siobhan

This was our second visit to Peters chalet. It was still as lovely and Peter was a great host. Location awesome and everything you will need is available in the Chalet. The chalet is both clean and spacious, and the bed is super comfy. It was lovely and toasty at night and even hot water bottles provided. Our puppy boxer dog Eric loved it as much as us. We will definitely return if Peter and Angie will have us. 😊 oh … and the Chinese on the corner is still lovely 😋

We had a fantastic stay at the Frenchie Retreat! The caravan was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Ziyona had even included some essentials like washing up liquid, sponges, tea towel, hand wash and toilet roll. The beds were comfy and the linen was lovely! We actually checked the tags and have bought some since returning home! The caravan is in a lovely location, and had a nice outdoor area. The signal on site isn’t the best and we didn’t realise until we were leaving that there was wifi! FYI the code is at the front of the guest book! Ziyona was very responsive to messages and is a great host. 10/10 break away as a family of 4 with two kids (age 8 and 2). Thanks so much! Hopefully we will be back again soon!

Booked for a 2 night stay and was perfect for a very relaxing time. Very easy to find in a beautiful little village. The instructions for getting in was perfect and great parking close to the lodge. The lodge was very clean and simple inside perfect for what we wanted. lots of room inside for the two of us and a Newfoundland dog and must say he really enjoyed his stay here also. The lodge is in the grounds of the Greenman pub this is a real bonus as the pub is a beautiful English pub with fantastic food and staff who made us feel really welcome it really is worth eating here and having a chat with the locals just how a pub should be good beer great food and lovely people thank you. 1 great thing about staying here is you step out straight into the countryside with gorgeous walks which me and the dog enjoyed. Our stay at Crowtree was thoroughly enjoyable. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the interior. We bumped into Patrick and his two dogs on arrival who were all very welcoming. Overall we wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for having us.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was peaceful, very nice, and in a fun location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Everything was just as described, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The only small issue was that the listing mentioned a BBQ was included, but we were asked to pay an extra £12 on the spot, even though we brought our own wood and supplies. It wasn’t a big deal, but it would have been good to know in advance. Other than that, everything was perfect! We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to unwind.

Truly special place for all and particularly for us with our four children. The woods, den building and genuinely peaceful vibe was a big win for all.

We had a great time with our small children. The caravan was very clean and we loved the site. Del was super easy to communicate with. Instructions for the heating and mattress protectors would be welcomed and it would have been good to know how narrow the single beds were! Thank you.

What a wonderful weekend we’ve just had at the log cabin. Beautiful surroundings and the bonus of the lovely, relaxing hot tub to enjoy them in. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hosts David and Lisa were friendly and very quick to respond to any messages I sent. Would definitely recommend!

A slice of heaven in the heart of Lincolnshire. This is perfect a few days getaway from the everyday city slog (I live in Birmingham). I Felt right at home with Patrick and Glenys, nothing was too much trouble and they were super welcoming and friendly with local recommendations of the nearby villages and nature walks, specifically Patrick who told me To visit Donna nook where I found grey seal pups! Such a magical place, well thought out and a perfect escape for my friend and I to welcome in 2025! I will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful night away at the Nestbox, this place is so peaceful and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Such good value for money. We drove into Louth which had plenty of restaurants and a pretty village for a stroll around :-) will definitely be returning. X
