The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

You will have: a king bed, A/C, kitchenette(not a full kitchen) for morning coffee, nearby museum & walking trails. A perfect location for exploring. A gorgeous estate full of colorful artwork and Native American petroglyphs inside private garden walls. This sprawling adobe home is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undeveloped land. It was built in the early 1800s by Spanish settlers and over time has been stunningly remodeled. Quixote’s Canyon is named as an homage to its Spanish history and the metal sculpture of famed Spanish literary character, Don Quixote, (yes, the windmill fighting guy) who welcomes you at the entrance.

#8 is a large and beautiful place on 3.5 acres with mountain views in every direction. We have a large 3-car detached garage. We have 4 Master BR suites and 2 living rooms, each with sofas and a sofa-bed. 6 TV's and 3 fireplaces (4 counting the fire-pit in the back) Beautiful private dining room and another dining table outside (weather permitting).
