had a beautiful stay - very functional space and plenty of room for a family of 4. Pool was a bonus and it was helpful having such a responsive host with great recommendations.

We had such a great stay at the lodge traveling with our 4 month old. The main room is very comfortable and the crib worked out well. It also has a fridge in the room. The kitchen is outdoors and well stocked. There is a shared, salt water pool, which is very comfortable. We were also lucky enough to see a family of monkeys passing by one morning. The surroundings in general and stunning and very relaxing. Stephane and Sonia are very welcoming and personable. They had great tips and also served a great (optional) breakfast.

Sandpiper House was amazing and Gemma is a fantastic host. House was beautiful and close to everything, including the beach club which was a great added bonus. Gemma was very responsive and helpful and even had a few beers in the fridge for us upon check in. She answered questions quickly and had lots of great recommendations. Monkeys were sleeping in the trees out front one morning and we always saw them in the evenings in the trees behind the house. I can’t recommend this house enough and we will definitely book there again.

I first have to send a million thank yous for welcoming us last minute. We were in a pinch and were so fortunate that this location was available. In a very cute little community in walkable distance to restaurants and the beach. Beds were extremely comfortable and acs made the inside comfortable; we felt right at home. Would totally stay here again. Thank you again so so much :)

Mi familia se sintió muy a gusto y el lugar bastante accesible, cerca de todo. Hasta mi perrita estuvo super relajada :). Ideal para familias con chicos, ellos disfrutaron de la piscina al 100%. Esperamos volver ya que nos gustó mucho el lugar. 10/10

This place is AMAZING! Kyna and Elmer were so unbelievably helpful with absolutely everything! I could not have asked for better hosts and a better place to stay! They helped with all sorts of bookings and were super communicative throughout the whole planning process and trip itself. I cannot wait to go back and take my kids!

If you are looking for a wonderful condo, in a scenic and relaxing location with access to a little adventure, this is the right place for you. Playa Flamingo is a quiet and beautiful beach with both big and small waves depending on the time of the day. This condo community is also quiet while offering so many amenities. The staff are amazing and you never have to fight for chairs. The salt water pools and beach are just steps away from your condo. Dania is the perfect host. She planned our airport transportation, golf cart rental, surf lessons, fishing charter, and waterfall hike. Everyone was there (even early) when she said they would be. Costs were upfront. Dania really made this the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Better than an all inclusive in my opinion. Rent a golf cart and easily access restaurants and grocery stores. Food prices are high in the area. We have 2 kids, 12 and 15 years old, and all four of us can't stop talking about what a wonderful vacation we had.

Wij hebben hier een week verbleven met onze peuter en het was heerlijk! Het huis is heel schoon en heel goed uitgerust, aan alles is gedacht! Goed uitgeruste keuken; wasmachine en faciliteiten om schoon te maken, uitgebreid beddengoed, handdoeken en doeken voor het strand. Echt heel comfortabel en prettig, zeker met een gezin! Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan voor families met kleine kinderen. Het huis is ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Ook het contact met de host verliep goed en makkelijk, ze reageren heel snel en zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Iets om rekening mee te houden is dat de grotere supermarkten wat verder weg zijn (30 minuten rijden ongeveer) dus bijvoorbeeld op de dag van aankomst is het verstandig vooraf boodschappen te doen. Het huis ligt een beetje afgelegen, maar er zijn genoeg mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes vlakbij!

We had an amazing stay in Tamarindo! The Airbnb was absolutely perfect. It was definitely one of the most beautiful and unique stays I’ve ever had. The home looks EXACTLY like the photos. We really appreciate the high quality furniture throughout the home. Definitely not your typical Airbnb “filler furniture”. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to experience Tamarindo with a large group!

This Airbnb was perfect for 2 families (4 adults and 3 children from 4-6 years old). The short walk to the beach, Dante’s Rock, restaurants, surf rental, yoga and little shops within minutes was exactly what we had searched and hoped for! We were very grateful for the beach equipment (chairs, sun shades, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler and wagon). The house was very clean, with excellent A/C throughout and beautiful from top to bottom! Top notch appliances & well equipped for cooking. Netflix was great for the kiddos. The warm welcome and package was very appreciated. We felt very safe at all times, thank you for the added security! The pool and private outdoor area with shower, powder room and kitchen were a huge plus! 15 minute drive to a 24h urgent care and grocery store. We had homie chef come and cook for us, a must! Special mention to rip jack inn, pots and bowls, pacific horses in conchal and the farmers market in Tamarindo on Saturday morning. Don’t hesitate to book this amazi

The host is a true Superhost—very responsive and welcoming. The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described (or even better!). We really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out, which made our stay even more convenient. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Airbnb! Jacob their security guard was awesome and very kind! The place is gorgeous and very peaceful and overall an awesome location close to beaches and restaurants! The view is so beautiful! We got to see the sunset everyday and even got a chance to hear the monkeys in the trees! Overall recommended!

what a lovely time here at Casas Pelicanos. we stayed here for 3 days and wish we stayed a bit longer! Sibylle was very friendly, welcoming and overall so pleasant. everything was clean and accessible. loved the outdoor patio, hammock, garden, pool and walkable access to the beach would recommend this place to everyone! need 4x4 for safety reasons, roads are dirt, rock and when raining pot holes filled with water we cooked meals here and then ate at many local restaurants, favorites: Sabor De Mi Tierra & El Fogon de Dona Luisa. local supermarket Junquillal for basic stuff, I recommend stopping at a bigger supermarket on the way from outside towns recommended to stop at Playa Grande, Playa Negra (both have parking with security guard you pay cash colones 2000). playa Negra had monkeys, variety of birds and squirrels. playa grande was by far my favorite- you could walk for ever, take photos on the rocks and of all the shells! just heads up this is Costa Rica, there are bugs everywhere

Casa Mirage was a trip of a lifetime for our family and a lot of it has to do with the host and the staff. The place was exactly as described and more. THe host helped with everything from transportation to food. It's located in a small surf town with cute little coffee shop and a few good restaurants within walking. THe beach is walkable and super clean up to 4 miles and the water is warm and clean. The staff came around daily to clean up yard debris and clean inside. Kimberly was the chef and wow did she outdo herself. Helped us with grocery shopping and made us the best meals i've ever had! Her and her ladies were so kind and skilled. If we could go every year we would!! Thank you so much

First of all, I have traveled around the world and stayed in numerous Airbnb and this ranks as one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Clean, beautiful, decadent…and the kitchen has absolutely everything you need in order to cook! Beds were extremely comfortable, high-end mattresses and the pool was kept clean and the air conditioning was ice cold! Only a three minute walk to a mind blowing beach. Thank you Adam, wonderful stay and lifelong memories were made here!

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

Our group of two families (4 adults, 4 kids) couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Costa Rica. The design, decor and space were all top notch (we felt like we living in a magazine) and the service from the management company was above and beyond. Kids and adults all loved the space and nearby beach club amenities. Highly recommend golf carts for transportation around the resort and to nearby restaurants. We felt super safe and spoiled the whole time. Thanks for a great stay and for taking such good care of us!

We were amazed by the view we had from this beautiful property. The road up to it is somewhat steep and winding but well worth the trip. We loved the outdoor common area and the swimming pool. Juan Carlos was an excellent host. Our son’s family arrived well after dark. Juan Carlos met them in town and guided them up to the house so that they wouldn’t have to find us in the dark. He was very good about answering our endless supply of questions. The house is close to the town of Coco, many restaurants, two beaches, and several grocery stores. We would definitely recommend this place for a Costa Rican vacation.

We were a group of 8 people spending a week together for the first time. We had an amazing time and loved ‘our’ house and location. The presence of our housekeeper (Fresia) was undeniably the greatest benefit, and we are very grateful for her attention and responsiveness. Between Jennifer and Fresia, we felt cared for and heard. Both responded with speed and effectiveness and we were so grateful! Loved the area…Playa Grande and Tamarindo did not disappoint!!! Thank you Jennifer!

So many good things to say about this place and the concierge. First, the home is even better than the photos and they thought of every detail. The pool is an oasis with the most beautiful sunsets. We believe the absolute best time to visit is early May, but you really can’t go wrong. The concierge made great recommendations for our stay and they coordinated superb excursions for us. In addition, we hired Flamingo Foods (through concierge) and they hit it out of the park. The food, service and kitchen staff were wonderful. We felt very safe, there is a guard at the main security gate 24/7. There are also two more security gates that you go through as you go to the home within the gated community. Surrounding the property there is so much to do in Playa Flamingo. This beach was our favorite. Go get a massage in the beach. Also stop by Coco Loco at the beach for their famous “Coco Loco” drink. Play Flamingo Marina is also a hot spot to check out. Surf box, Santino Norte… Google it. 10/10

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!
