Playa Hermosa vacation rentals

This apartment was a fantastic find. My favorite part was the rooftop patio, which had stunning views of the bay and unforgettable sunsets every evening. The complex has several pools, and my husband and I found our favorite: a shaded one with plenty of loungers and chairs, perfect for cooling off during the 35°C days. The location is ideal — just a short walk to the beach, neighbourhood restaurants, and coffee shops. We even caught a Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game at The Wave bar nearby! 8 minute walk to main street, where we discovered some great restaurants and charming shops. I even bought a beautiful ring at Amano Jewelry, a locally owned shop run by a husband and wife team who sell their own creations along with pieces by other local artists. Dorita was a wonderful host. Her instructions were clear and helpful. She was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommended — we’d absolutely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Villa Sol. There was a lot to do for the entire family, kids through adults. It's also located on a beautiful beach. We did hear and see a few racoons in the front yard or on our roof, besides being a little scared seeing them (as some reviews described them as aggressive), they did not bother us, nor did they prevent us from enjoying our outdoor area of the villa. We would definitely stay again.

David was such a good host and very responsive! The airbnb had everything I needed and felt cozy. It was a short walk to the beach and easy access to the supermarket and other shops. Can’t wait to go back!

The apartment was great. The air conditioning works very well. it was clean and we did not lack anything and the grocery store is a 5 min walk. The resort is very quiet, almost too much. The only catch is that in the evening we didn't want to enjoy the pool and balcony because there are a lot of raccoons and stray cats

House is gorgeous and is only upstaged by the surroundings. Tree house in the jungle feel and easy walk to beach!! We had howler monkey sightings almost everyday as we relaxed at the pool in the afternoons. Andrea and Rick are great host and were always available and responsive!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to lots of great restaurants and shops. The space was exactly like the photos: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. It felt like a home away from home. Anisa, the host, was incredibly kind and responsive throughout the entire stay, which made everything so smooth and enjoyable. I truly loved everything about this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

What a gem. To see that view when you walk in the door is amazing. It’s a beautiful house with everything you may need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the pool is exactly like the pictures with warm water and bar stools to gaze out over that stunning view. The AC & fans do a great job of keeping you cool as a retreat from outside. We also loved the use of the beach chairs, towels and beach toys for the whole family. Our 3 small children loved it! We will be back!

Our family of 4 (2 parents and 2 teens) spent a week at Benton's place and loved every second. The home is gorgeous and exceptionally well stocked. The beds are very comfortable (something that is very important to us) and the spaces are pleasant. The view is second to none! If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of your own life or busy tourist locations to recharge, this place is it. Benton was incredibly helpful, friendly and responsive. He booked a fantastic chef for us for 3 meals (some of the best meals we had while in the area) and a wonderful snorkeling adventure. He also gave us great recommendations on the best grocery stores and restaurants in the area. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul and what a thoughtful and kind host Benton is. You won't be disappointed with a stay here.

my husband and I loved our stay at Casa Gungun! Rodrigo was very good at communicating. We loved the peaceful area and the view was amazing! the road to the place is very rough and makes it a bit harder in and out for doing things but just know you don't get anywhere fast in costa rica. Ate the best pizza of our life at Kon tiki! Hot tub struggled to get hot with the power outages was the only slight bummer but we enjoyed it when it was hot outside instead!

Wow. It's like a home star. Well equipped. You have to take advantage of the pool is great for swimming and the beach is super close.

The best Airbnb I’ve ever booked, worthy of a honeymoon. The pool is amazing, the lighting is artsy, the rooms are spacious, the set up is unique. You feel like you’re in a movie. I will be coming back for sure, especially since they’re upgrading and building new homes on the property which I’m sure will also be stunning.

The pictures really don’t do this place justice. From the personal escort to the very private location to the incredible view and peaceful location, very clean and modern decor and responsive house manager Alex, we were very happy with spending a little extra to be here. Alex also suggested things to do, a restaurant that could deliver (Almar) when we were exhausted from tours during the day, and recommenced tge cutest boutique restaurant on the beach we went back to multiple times (Roberto’s). The pool was the perfect temperature and while a couple of minor things came up during our stay, Alex addressed them immediately. I highly recommend booking Casa Mulira!

Stay at this home for about a week. This home is so beautiful with amazing view. Kids loved the pool. Everything was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Camille's home. The house is absolutely beautiful along with the back yard being picture perfect. It is just as beautiful as the photos. We had a few minor issues with the sink but Camille and her mom Nik were extremely helpful and very prompt with responses, making sure to take care of everything immediately. Renting a golf cart was a game-changer for us, we had a great time on it versus taking the car everywhere. Lots of restaurants and beaches nearby. We hope to be back one day!! Thanks Camille and Nik!

The pool was the best part! We could have laid out all day long! Super fast hot water. Great view. Easy to communicate with!

Michael provided us with a beautiful home away from home for our first family vacation in Costa Rica. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults had multiple areas throughout the house to relax and reset. The house was beautiful and the views were fantastic! The gated community made us feel safe and the staff helped us with whatever we needed. This home was apart of us making lifelong memories we will cherish. Thank you to Michael for being honest, responsive, courteous, and a wonderful host. We will certainly recommend this home to all our friends and family!

We had a great stay at Sylvie's place. It's very close to multiple beaches and the pool was amazing. Sylvie was very responsive whenever we wrote and always helpful. The place is very comfortable and has all the "western" amenities. We cooked every meal (for two adults and three small children) with no issue. The kitchen had everything that was needed for cooking full meals. I would definitely not recommend staying here unless you have a car (which we did). You'd be very isolated to the one local beach and pool. With a car, everything you could want is in a 12 minute drive or less.

Great location in Playa del Coco! Easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but not in the busy area so still relatively peaceful. 35 minutes to the airport or rental car return location. We will definitely stay again!

I planned a scuba dive trip to Playa deal Coco and Flamenco Rosa C#18 was the perfect home base for having such an adventure. The location is the ideal distance to both the beach and the bustling center. Close enough to be able to access both easily, but far enough away to sneak away to a peaceful, private space where you can take a siesta before heading back down to the beach for memorable sunsets. The unit is part of a hospitable and clean Condo community. I think this is a great value for a couple, or family of three. Please give it a try! I loved my experience.

Our stay in this brand-new townhouse was absolutely incredible! We were thrilled to be the first guests in this pristine, super spacious unit. Sebastian, the manager, was exceptional—his incredible helpfulness and local insights made our trip unforgettable, and he truly deserves a shoutout! The location was strategic, perfectly close to stunning beaches, vibrant local spots, and everything we needed. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had a peaceful vibe with gorgeous views. We will definitely return and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Flamingo!
