Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Stromboli

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

Great house for staying in Filicudi with stunning views. Everything was clean, and Danilo was very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here! Note that it’s a 15-20 minute walk to either town. I enjoyed the walks, but if you don’t like walking I would recommend getting a scooter.

This is a gem of a find. I want to keep it secret and not tell anyone about it but have already recommended it to all my friends. We already want to come back. Cattia and Nino are amazing hosts and make sure you are looked after. If you want peace and solitude with incredible views and an amazing villa this is the pace for you. 5 star service.

We had a great stay in Eugenio’s unique apartment. Easy to find and in a great location just a short walk to many bars and restaurants. Eugenio was flexible, and really helpful with local recommendations and suggestions. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is beautifully secluded, just two minutes away from a private lovely beach with turquoise waters, hidden between pine trees with the sound of crickets in the background... Who could ask for anything more! This is the prefect place to get away from it all, completely submerged in nature in a beautiful typical Eolien Villa. The house is well equipped and our hosts were always available, extremely welcoming and friendly and gave us wonderful insider tips to discover the island (although we could have stayed in the house our entire vacation). Definitely one of the best Airbnb's we've been to, we can't wait to return!

What a VIEW! We saw the Etna erupt. The location is exactly as in the pictures (even slightly better.) We were very happy with the hammock and the hammock chair. We got beans from the garden. Bartolo picked us up from the boat and put us in touch with a good scooter rental. A very nice welcome. Thank you Bartolo and thank you to your dear parents as well.

Paola and Marcello's historic family home matches the descriptions. It is located in the historic center of Lipari in a quiet area, 5 minutes from the port and close to clubs and services. It is equipped, a comfortable and informal nest. Our vacation was special thanks to the welcome of Marcello, who picked us up at the port, accompanied us to spectacular places and offered experiences and stories with Paola with rare attention and availability.

wonderful experience the place is incredible for the view and the soul and if you want to forget all kinds of confusion not easy for essential services if you are without a means of transport

We had a wonderful stay in Teresa Elianas house. The surroundings were beautiful and the house and pool amazing! Teresa answered very fast and was immensely helpful! We highly recommend the tranquil house.

The host Francesca is very helpful and friendly, very comfortable house for amenities, house furnished with everything and 5 minutes from the sea. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. We recommend alive highly, we will definitely be back!

Very sweet personally furnished house with great roof terrace, plenty of space and great location, just a few minutes to bars and restaurants, but still a little quieter at the Marina Corta. Furnishings authentic/antique, but everything very clean!

We were very well hosted at Elisa's. All the accurate information was given to us to arrive at the property. The apartment is well spacious, great location, close to the sea and close to town. Recommended for visiting Milazzo, the wind islands...

We are very happy with our stay. We enjoyed the apartment, spacious, bright with the superb terrace!! We would just like to point out that for us there are a few kitchen utensils missing to fully enjoy the preparations of Meals and also more mugs for breakfast. Generally positive reviews for us. We will come again

The house had everything we needed. The view is really nice! You have peace and can relax on the many terraces. It can get a little windy, in the summer it's certainly not bad. Communication also worked out great. We felt very comfortable. They even made a bed for our child.

We were 8 adults and 2 children. The villa, the beautiful garden and the pool were perfect for us. The care by the caretaker and his recommendations were great. We had a perfect vacation and would be happy to come back.

Beautiful house, great outdoor seating in different places of the garden/terraces, overall well equipped, above all, we appreciated the outdoor kitchen with a grill, where we could grill fresh sea treats from a nearby store, the cooking equipment was perfect, the owner did not bother us, and she provided us with information willingly and quickly. We had a great stay the house and the area was lovely.Check in was great Palermo was so helpful and made us feel comfortable straight away. Frederico sent us information on places to go. You can park outside the property or if you have a small car inside on the drive. We had a great holiday and would recommend highly may even return.

We rented the place to spend time with my husband's brothers and sisters-in-law near their ancestral village. The place was ideal for 4 couples and we were able to have dinner all together along with a fourth brother and sister-in-law, my daughter and nephews. We cooked some great meals there. Salvatore's mom Patrizia was a real life-saver when I came down with sinusitis and needed antibiotics - she directed me to the closest medical clinic and even scheduled x-rays and a follow up visit. Salvatore was there in a flash when my husband locked us out of the house. As for location, this place was a little off the beaten path but close enough to everything : the closest beach was a 5 minute drive down the hill, grocery store and great bakery less than 10 minutes by car and 20 minute drive to our new favourite ice cream place. It was great for day trips to Etna, Cefalu, Milazzo, Messina, Catania, Tindari, Palermo and everywhere in between. We had the choice of 3 train stations.

A beautiful large house with amazing sea views. Beautiful indoor pool, sauna and entertainment area. We were a group of 10 and there was plenty of space. The agent who is in charge of this listing was not communicative at all but luckily the owners were very nice and easy to speak to.

Excellent location and nice house. Already missing it.
