This double farmhouse dates from the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the barn doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a garden with a terrace. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Nice basic mobile home, rural yet centrally located! Wonderful hiking. Beautiful motorbike and cycling routes through the polder, horseback riding, a day at the beach and/or forest or visit a nice city! It's all possible from this lovely centrally located place. The beach 8 km (10min), Schagen (westfrisian market) 5km (10min), Alkmaar (cheese market) 16km (20min), Amsterdam 58 km (50 min). Bring your pet or horse! We are both happy to welcome, so please inquire about the possibilities.

Apartment in the farmhouse

New apartment in the Boerderie Tolke28, a small paradise in Noord-Holland Tolke28 is the perfect place for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, beachgoers and families with small children. You will be staying in an apartment in our farm. This also means that you may hear us walking up the stairs and that you can hear us walking on the first floor. The apartment is not large (14 by 5 meters), but the corresponding garden is excellent. Take your own egg from the chicken coop

The Cabin of Greenland

A lovely private place with its own garden to completely unwind. The Cabin of Greenland is a modern wooden house. Built in 2020 and located on our family property with monumental barn from 1640. From your own garden or through the large windows, you can see the sun rise, you have a view of the bulb fields, old North Holland mills, and around you, you experience the lively nature. You are surrounded by greenery and the cheerful presence of various (water) birds and insects.

Guesthouse De Buizerd

De Buizerd: a super cozy, spacious guest house in the tail of a West Frisian stolpboerderij overlooking the meadows, located close to the beach and the dunes of Bergen and Schoorl. This spacious and cozy house sleeps six adults and/or children. For example, a family with two children and grandparents (who have their bedroom and private bathroom downstairs). Or a group of friends looking for a nice location for their annual get-together weekend.

Lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and in addition a private garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Lovely apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
