Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

The Studio is one nice space, in which you will find a living room (digital TV with Netflix and YouTube), bedroom & kitchen + separate shower & toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped, from refrigerator, combi-microwave, stove + (bean) coffee machine with cappuccino option. This double farmhouse dates from the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the barn doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a garden with a terrace. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Nice basic mobile home, rural yet centrally located! Wonderful hiking. Beautiful motorbike and cycling routes through the polder, horseback riding, a day at the beach and/or forest or visit a nice city! It's all possible from this lovely centrally located place. The beach 8 km (10min), Schagen (westfrisian market) 5km (10min), Alkmaar (cheese market) 16km (20min), Amsterdam 58 km (50 min). Bring your pet or horse! We are both happy to welcome, so please inquire about the possibilities.

Lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and in addition a private garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Lovely apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

The village of Schagerbrug is located in the Kop van Noord-Holland, in the municipality of Schagen. Around the village you will find an open polder landscape in which you can hike and bike excellently. Not far west of Schagerbrug is a beautiful dune area, the Zwanenwater, in which you can relax well. A beautiful beach walk is of course also possible! A visit to Den Helder or Alkmaar is also one of the options.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
