Renovated Rustic Stable set in Rolling Hills

DebRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Stable is a spacious property with everything you need for your stay. The bedroom is upstairs with a large & comfy bed & ensuite bathroom. The lounge area has various board games, books & foosball table to keep children & adults entertained. The kitchen & dining room is large and sunny. There is also a downstairs bathroom and utility room with washing machine. Yvonne was great to communicate with - quick to answer any questions. The fresh milk and scones on arrival was a nice touch. The Stable is well located for walks directly from the property or a short drive to the Forest of Dean. We enjoyed pizza & beer at the tap room at Bespoke Brewery in Littledean, dinner at Post in Newnham (highly recommend) & cider tasting at Severn Cider in Awre. If you're looking for a quiet break in the countryside, book here.

Jay Barn

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Jay Barn. It is really well located - only a short drive to some of the most famous towns in the Cotswolds such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway, Moreton- in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Chipping Norton. The property is gorgeous, has a large downstairs area and a front garden, which was ideal for our 2 dogs. We would 100% recommend Jay Barn to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in the beautiful Cotswolds. Thank you Daniel!

Spacious barn conversion in a tranquil village

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Christian and Vicky have the most beautiful property that I urge others to make the most of - better than the photos!!!!! The Barn is truly stunning inside and out. The location is fantastic with a pub at the bottom of the road and the fields leading to beautiful walks at the top of the road. My family and I have had the best time here along with our furry boy 🐾 the Barn has everything you could possibly need and more, we didn’t want to leave. We cannot wait to come back and spend more time at such a beautiful, peaceful and welcoming place. Christian and Vicky, thank you so much for being amazing hosts and we cannot wait to return! A fantastic bank holiday Easter weekend, one we certainly won’t forget!

We loved our stay at Carolyn's cottage. The views are breathtaking and the cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Very peaceful and private. The woods just across the road are beautiful and really big so you can vary your walks. The pub down the road in the pretty village (15 min walk) is lovely and the food was great. If you're looking for a place to relax, with beautiful views and walks on your doorstep, then this is a perfect place.

Cosy Barn Conversion on Remote Farm

GrahamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This little oasis is as far as it can be from the hustle & bustle of modern life, being at the end a farm track, surrounded by open countryside. It is rare to find somewhere where there is no road noise - just the sound of silence - and the farm animals of course. You are still close to good local facilities & great places to eat. Nancy & her family are an absolute delight, they are the perfect hosts. I am certain will return. Graham, Jen & little Xena

Shepherds Barn a 2 bedroom barn conversion

GarethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely location on the outskirts of Hinckley. Peaceful and quiet but only 5-10 mins drive from Hinckley with Morrisons and a farm selling fresh milk really close by. Property itself is a beautiful barn conversion with a huge open plan kitchen and 2 large bathrooms. Everything was very clean, well organised and beautifully decorated. The hosts were very friendly and helpful if we had any questions but not intrusive. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

'The Barn' - Spacious barn in pretty canal village

PoppyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed here with my mum and my sister the night before my wedding. In the morning my other bridesmaids came over and we had our hair and make up done here and Janice couldn’t have been more accommodating with them turning up with plenty of car parking spaces. This place is even better than the photos, if that’s even possible! A truly beautiful space, spotlessly clean, lovely little touches left in bathrooms and kitchen, everything had been thought of. Honestly I can’t fault our stay and want to thank Janice for making my wedding morning special but letting us stay at her wonderful place!

The Byre, Stunning Barn Conversion, Nr Stroud

AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at the barn. The place was immaculate and very welcoming. The place itself had everything you need, it is very well though trough.Very nicely done up, there’s definitely an eye for the attention to details. We are a family of 4, 2 little ones under 8, we has some lovely bike rides and lovely teas at the Amberley inn and the Black Horse. We did the Stroud rail trail by bike, going towards Stonehouse,it wasn’t that great we ended up cycling along a dual carriageway, not great with little ones. But toward Nailsworth there’s a little cycling trail, which was really good fun, it’s not big but enough for a couple of jumps, and a few bumps. The property is facing a lovely field with Jasper and Petal the 2 local horses, and they’ll be happy to welcome you in the neighbourhood. The kids were very cosy upstairs and downstairs was great with a toasty fireplace. My hubby is quite tall so the bed unfortunate l’y was on the small side for us, nevertheless the mattress is very comfy

The Carthorse Barn. 2 bedroom barn conversion.

JoannaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Carthorse Barn is just simply stunning ! So spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt right at home . The day we arrived weather was not the greatest so having a wood stove was blissful. The cottage is very spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay , kitchen is fully equipped, downstairs toilet a welcomed bonus. Upstairs both bedrooms are immaculate, spacious and have very comfy beds . I loved the window bench in the kids bedroom, such a wonderful nook to relax. The main bedroom has the biggest and comfiest bed I have ever seen , such a beautiful wooden headboard too. I loved the free standing bath. The farm is also lovely and we enjoyed going to see the pigs and walking round the lakes.

No.1 The Dutch Barn, light open-plan living.

PaulineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is exeptional in every way. I stayed with two friends, so that we could visit the nearby Blethchley Park site. The accomodation is first class, from the pristine bedding to the well eqippped kitchen and immaculate bathrooms. It has everything you can think of to make a stay comfortable and welcoming. The area is beautiful, with fields all around, birds singing and a few lazy sheep in the meadow. With the living accomodation being situated on the first floor, the view are lovely. We were all so impressed with this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Sophie kept us informed and was available to answer and questions. We had an amazing stay, visiting Buckingham, the theatre at Aylesbury Waterside and the fantastic code breakers site at Blethchely. Simply wonderful.

This was such an incredible experience for us. My only wish was that we stayed longer! The Old Farm House is so beautiful and in a great location that is easy to get to the main villages in the Cotswolds. It’s so peaceful and if we make it back to the UK I could see us staying there again as a family.
