Cosy country hideaway - Elham Valley, Canterbury

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely gorgeous hide away! One of the most peaceful places we've visited and we will definitely return. Andrea and Maitland were the perfect hosts. So welcoming and excited to show us around, we can see they love their spaces as much as the guests. A vast amount of surrounding land and gorgeous spots to walk, it really is the perfect retreat from the city. We love to spend time away with our dog, with an open fire pit, bbq, peace, tranquility and good food. It's places like this that dreams are made of. loved it, every second. Thank you Andrea & Maitland. see you again

Remote Off-Grid Cabin w/ Unspoiled Sunset Views

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an amazing stay at this off-grid cabin - Tom was a great host and the brochure was a helpful in covering all the smaller details! Location is great and in a private field so perfect to relax - plenty of pubs and lots of great walks. It is worth noting that the fridge mentioned is actually a cool box (which doesn’t stay cool overnight if you switch it off) so be mindful of what food you take with you. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

The Granary

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a last minute half term booking and we weren't disappointed! The Granary is an amazing place to stay in a really picturesque part of the Kent countryside. The property itself was spotless and really well appointed and Michael and his wife made us feel very welcome - we felt right at home. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend the property to anyone who wants a place in the beautiful countryside but within easy access of places like Canterbury.
An outdoor terrace features a small circular table adorned with a patterned top, accompanied by two glasses and a bottle of wine. Comfortable cushions are placed on the metal chairs, offering a view of the surrounding countryside and trees beyond the railing.

The Secret Log Cabin

KseniaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great weekend. The house is tucked away in the fields—completely private, with no one around except horses, rabbits, and pheasants. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The new BBQ was a nice touch, the house was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the toilet very clean. We’d definitely come back.

A large window frames a serene view of the sea, with clear blue skies meeting gentle waves. A potted plant adds a touch of greenery, positioned beside a stainless steel sink, enhancing the bright and airy atmosphere of the space.

Escape to the Sea

GeorgeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Like most have highlighted previously, Tanya’s place was even better in person. The apartment is spacious yet cosy and the sea view is an added luxury. Tanya was a wonderful host and gave us a thorough list of recommendations that directed our weekend nicely. The only disappointment was that we could only stay one night this time, so I guess we’ll just have to return one day!

Rural Garden studio in area of natural beauty

BelindaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I have stayed with Elizabeth several times before and as always she is a welcoming host, any little problems and she is quick to deal with them. The property is quirky, with slopping roof, kitchen has a combination cooker and airfryer. Fresh eggs are supplied from the free range chickens and ducks. It is in the countryside and at places the roads are single carriage way with passing places, so no rally racing.

The Old Piggery

CharlotteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just come back from a wonderful peaceful weekend at The Old Piggery. Our host Pippa was so friendly and kind. The welcome pack of eggs, bread and Prosecco was such a thoughtful touch. The space itself was behind the main Chapel Cottage, but still felt so private as you are in a fairly remote village. Everything is a bit of a drive away, but that was fine for us. Loved the hot tub! The pool being open would have been the cherry on the top, but only open from June for the Summer months. Would definitely come back!
